  Brandon was very easy to speak to, he told me exactly what will happen and when. I have already given my sister Pasterkamp's number! I was happy to speak to someone who really knows the products and tells you what you need and didn't try to upsale me. I will always use Pasterkamp from now on!! I am getting a furnace that's the right size for my house and a heat pump installed

  Pasterkamp has installed heating and air conditioning systems in two of our Colorado homes. In both cases, the systems have worked flawlessly. This company is a Colorado institution. I would choose them again and again.

  I rarely leave reviews, but this feels important to share. In 2009, we had Pasterkamp come to our home to install a new furnace in the back of the house (we live in an older home that has two furnaces). The installation took place over two days. At the end of the first day, the technician failed to properly cap the gas line before leaving. I was home at the time with my three young children and, not realizing the seriousness of the situation, assumed the odor I noticed was just residual from the day’s work. When my husband arrived home, he immediately recognized something was wrong and told us to leave the house right away. A hazmat team arrived shortly after and confirmed there was a gas leak. We stayed with neighbors that night and are incredibly grateful the situation didn’t result in a far worse outcome. Pasterkamp did apologize and, if I remember correctly, sent us a plant—which, given the severity of the incident, felt like an odd and insufficient response. I’m sharing this now because a few days ago our thermostat stopped working. After trying to troubleshoot it ourselves, I contacted Pasterkamp to ask about a service visit. The call was answered by an AI voice agent, which was not disclosed upfront—I had to ask. That, combined with being quoted a $99 diagnostic fee, made me uneasy given our past experience. I believe in second chances, but I’ve never felt there was genuine acknowledgment of how serious and frightening that incident was. Because of that, I’m not comfortable giving this company more of our business. I’ve requested a callback from a human representative, but will most likely be reaching out to R&L Enterprises, LLC., who installed the furnace in the front of our home. Their service was a completely different experience—professional, responsive, and reassuring. I highly recommend them.
