- CGChris GuioJan 22, 20261.0The tech came and inspected the system, rewired the new thermostat I'd installed, told me the heater wouldn't work at all, and we'd need to spend $14-16K for a whole new heating system. I contacted a friend of mine in another state who's an HVAC tech and over facetime, we discovered the thermostat was rewired incorrectly by the tech that came out. My friend walked me through rewiring, and setting up the thermostat correctly, and now we have things working like they should, without spending a ridiculous amount on a whole new system. This company was either incompetent, or intentionally trying to keep my current heating system from working so they could upsell me a whole new system.

Anyway, I called Ultimate Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electric and Tina picked up the phone I was in tears having been without hot water for over a week I had no idea how long it was going to take to get a new water heater installed. This extremely helpful & compassionate company got me an estimate within hours, and booked on the scheduled the very next afternoon. The price was reasonable and everyone that made contact with me was efficient and honest. I was defeated, angry, and in tears at 2pm; by 3pm I was hopeful; and by 5pm I had an estimate talked with the plumber, and was on the schedule for the next day. That’s customer service,
