I had my HVAC cleaned and serviced by Tipping Hat Services on a Friday, and the technician failed to turn the system back on in the crawlspace. As a result, I went three days without heat in the middle of winter. When I called, the company was unwilling to send someone back promptly and said I’d have to wait until the following Tuesday for another appointment just to have it turned back on. To make matters worse, when I requested a copy of the invoice three days after service for an inspection requirement, they said they had no record of it in their system and it could take up to two more weeks to provide it. In 2026, that explanation is hard to believe. Going without heat due to a preventable oversight and then being told there’s no record of the service is extremely concerning. I expected much better communication and accountability.

I accidently called tipping hat when I googled my normal place and they put this number at the top. Thought I had a bad GFCI in my outlet but needed some other work done anyway so I called. Before giving me the $400 estimate to replace a $10 part in 10 minutes, they tried to sell me a $30 a month subscription for basically checking things once a year. The other work they gave me an estimate for $1700. that would have been a few hours work tops and all labor (diagnostics). Charged me $49 to come out and give me a ridiculous quote. Called TIME heating/plumbing/electric, the owner came out and showed my tripped breaker (it barely moved, I didn't notice). Didn't charge me anything. Go there instead, this place is a ripoff.

Start to finish white glove experience! Our furnace has been limping along for the past 5 years and finally took its last breath a few Thursday's ago. Tipping hat was prompt to arrive Friday morning to do a walkthrough and assess all the things. Furnace, A/C, Water Heater... the works. You see everything was 20+ years old or close and well if your going to do one why not do them all. The sales team was knowledge and very helpful. They even had their crew deliver 4 space heaters to get us through the cold weather until the install could take place. While install was a full day and into the evening event every crew member was respectful and I felt very safe and comfortable. With so many professionals in and out of the house I was surprised by how well they worked together and respected each other. When it was the plumbers turn to work in the same tight space as the furnace there were zero issues or complaints. You can tell these men respect each other and the company they work for. It was a breath of fresh air to hear playful banter and everyone being in good sprits. Each specialty kept me informed through out their process and had me review and sign off on their portion of the project, thoroughly explaining everything to me. The service team behind the scenes who were scheduling, answering my random text messages, and ensuring permits and inspections were done are a very kind, prompt bunch of women. Tipping Hat is blessed to have so many astonishing and competent employees. We will without a doubt be using them for more projects moving forward. Personal shout out and THANK YOU to the whole project team: Kodiak, Chappy, Katrina, Tyler, Roman, Joe, Dan N., Austin, Shannon, & Marissa (and the anonymous person who answered my original text requests for an appointment).

Maybe if I post here I'll get a response since my husband and I have been effectively ghosted by everyone we've tried to contact about the door that was broken during our HVAC service. Joe, Robert, and Chappy came to our home on 2.9.26 for a thorough HVAC cleaning that cost us almost $400. In the process, one of our doors was damaged, and in attempting to contact Tipping Hat about the issue, not one person (we've now tried to contact four different individuals) has responded or given us the time of day. Funny given how prompt and responsive they were when they thought they could make some money off of us. I also find it interesting that Tipping Hat has a five star review on Google, but when looking at reviews on other sites, they average a 2.4 star review...Food for thought. Would avoid and go literally anywhere else. They're extremely overbearing in their sales tactics and clearly are very good at spinning BS. Disappointing and unacceptable customer service. Save yourself the headache.

I am shocked your ratings are as high as they are. I would give a negative 5 stars if I could. My widowed mom called when her drains were not functioning and flooding her basement. The service she got was criminal! She was quoted over $70,000 worth of pipe work, the "sales person" that came out lied about doing neighbors pipes, wanted my mom to take him to her bank for a cashier's check of the entire balance and tried to tell her they do the work first before contacting the insurance company. He spray painted her rocks and driveway without permission or even consenting to the work and said she needed to remove one of her trees. Thankfully my mom knew to get a second opinion and all she needed to do was flush and clean her pipes. No damage existed as Tipping Hat claimed. The man who came out is a con and I pray he doesn't try and swindle anyone else.
