  . I have a boiler system that needed repair and maintenance. I called the office. Lucy was great and scheduled somebody immediately. Anthony Garcia came and immediately diagnosed the problem. He came back first thing in the morning and worked tirelessly all day , not only to repair the issues, but to upgrade the system So these issues wouldn’t happen in the future . He was punctual,, very thorough, personable, and I was impressed about how knowledgeable he was. He also took the time to explain what happened, why it happened and how it will not happen again. Anthony and Golden West will be my go to from now on.

  Had our annual service done and we ended up finding an issue that could have caused big problems as the cold weather moved in! Jimmy did a great job explaining what was going on and helped me with some ideas to keep it working better in the future!

  I am very unhappy with this company. This morning I woke up to issues in our two bathrooms in my home. I expect it is due to clogged drains or clogged sewer lines, as nothing would drain from toilets or the bathtub. Regardless, the bathrooms are unusable. I called this company on a Saturday at 10:00 am and was told a technician could come out between 3 and 5 pm. 2:30 pm comes along, and I get a text that they have to reschedule for another day. Being a VIP member with this company (I spent $149 a few months back) I am supposed to get extra perks. Extra perks include priority service over non-members. Golden West did offer to only charge me an extra $100 to complete the work in the same day, as it would be after-hours. This is unacceptable. I have worked with multiple plumbing companies in Colorado and Florida that honor their appointments without charging extra fees. I do not recommend working with this company.

  Jimmy was great. Very knowledgeable, laid out the options with out being pushy. He even provided DIY options to help cut down the costs. Only issue is scheduling can be better. Was bumped twice due to an influx of emergency calls (fine and they provided a small discount for the inconvenience), but having to clear an entire day for a morning of timeframe is annoying. It'd be great if you could provide timeframe the night before. Regardless, we'll use them again!

  Anthony was dispatched after we called golden west to work on our boiler. The boiler repair caused the electricity to the boiler to fail so they dispatched an electrician. When he got here, Anthony said it would be 1100$ to run diagnostics on a problem that they caused. Eventually my husband discovered that it had thrown a gfi and fixed it himself.
