  My experience with GWP was efficient, punctual and fair. My situation began after being misled by another company. I was in fear that the only way to solve my tankless water heater issue was by completely replacing the unit... I was looking at an expense of $8000-$10,000. I reached out to the manufacture of my tankless water heater - Noritz and they sent a list of companies/technicians who have been certified and trained on how to service and diagnose issues with the unit(s). I called GWP, received an appointment the same day! Within a few hours I had Chris (VanMeter) & Jose at my home. Chris was very energetic and eager to solve the issue, with the help of Jose they both asked questions, and looked at the unit. I was given 3 different options of what to do for a resolution and things to consider for the optimum use of the water heater. Due to the knowledge and critical thinking of this team, I was shockingly misinformed on how to solve my issue by the first company. I did in fact, NOT need to have the water heater replaced, turns out it just took some major digging and process of elimination. That extra elbow grease and attention to detail is really what built my trust with this company! I chose to join the VIP membership, have work done to solve the water heater issue and have a "to-do" list of sorts saved on my account file for when the finances allow for me to tackle these things. I saved thousands of dollars and stress with GWP. The service was quick and fairly priced; leaving me with a total around $700 (instead of $10,000!!) The following day - Chris, Jose and master plumber Felix Mendoza showed up promptly at 9am and had everything tidied up and finished by 10:15. If you're looking for an honest, hard working team of specialists who are willing to get the job done but also answer the "why's" of initial problem(s) happening - Golden West Plumping is your solution!

  Way overpriced. Full boiler replacement (ours blew up last winter!) plus tankless water heater. Great job installing, but very expensive. Had them come out for annual maintenance/ check up. Quoted one price on phone but upon completion, charged $125 more. Plus, they tried to upsell the water filter for $525!!! I bought it on Amazon for $34 and installed it myself. I called to complain about cost and upselling overpriced filter, lady was very polite and said she would get back to me. Ghosted. If you are flush with money, consider using them.

  I always look for a company who has really good reviews which is why I called this company. Imagine my surprise when I was given a $2,000 estimate to fix a broken toilet flange. The technician was recommending tearing out walls to get to the pipe under the toilet. I immediately knew something wasn’t right. My father-in-law went to Lowe’s and bought a $12 part and fixed it right away. We’ve had no problems with our toilet since then. I’m not sure if this company hires technicians who don’t know what they’re doing or they just try to scam. No I do not recommend this company.

  After years of dealing with an unsolved electrical issue, Hector finally diagnosed and fixed our problem! His dedication was incredible—he wouldn't stop until it was done right. When we needed to involve our electric company, he implemented a temporary solution that made our house work so much better while we waited. The moment the electric company finished their part, Hector returned to complete the job. His expertise and work ethic were exceptional. Mario was equally fantastic, coordinating everything with our electric company, which was no easy task. Despite the difficulties, he got it done and kept everything on track for Hector to finish the work. Both went above and beyond. We couldn't be more grateful for their excellent service and highly recommend them!

  Excellent customer service. The main reason I called was because I needed an electrician today. I am so happy Hector came out to help with our electrical issue. He was probably the most courteous person we have ever had come to our home for any service. He was very efficient and resolved the problem immediately. We had been battling with bad electrical circuits in our home for years and just getting by with bandaid by unplugging certain items to get others to work. Hector came in and assessed the situation and gave us our options. He advised us on his plan and we accepted without hesitation and Hector got to work. Very professional young man. Golden West is a no nonsense company that backs up their name with quality service. Super happy I called. Finally when he was finished Hector did a final walk through to explain it all. Fantastic.
