  Formula Roofing is absolutely incredible. Their attention to detail is unmatched, and every part of the project reflected real craftsmanship and pride in their work. On top of that, their team is friendly, responsive, and genuinely enjoyable to work with. They recently refreshed the awnings at the Bromwell playground, and the results were impeccable—clean, sharp, and better than we imagined. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

  Awesome to work with, great communication, amazing work, and a very fair price. They came out and repaired a few damaged shingles, replaced the roof on our shed, and removed our old swamp cooler/patched the hole. They managed to match our old shingles near perfect and were done in just a few hours. The owner came out after to personally sign off on the work and even did a few touch ups himself which is great to see. He even offered to come back out once winter is over to make sure the shingles are laying flat and all is well. Highly recommend.

  First, Formula roofing was responsive to my ‘minor’ repair request where other companies were not. They communicated well throughout the process of estimating, quoting and completing the work. The job was explained thoroughly and completed in a timely manner. I Highly recommend Formula Roofing.

  I wasn't going to write a review but Formula finally sent me over the edge and now I need to. The thing that finally got me was the "thank you" card written to HARRY LAU.....my name is Larry Hau and always has been on all the paperwork I signed and the 20+ emails I had to send to fix my job. Here's why that little thing sent me over the edge. I reached out to Formula about repairing concrete tiles on my roof. The estimate went great. Clear statement of the problem, options for me to choose from and even other information about my roof and things I didn't need to fix. Overall, very happy. That was October 2025. The actual job took some scheduling but also happened in October. They missed the first scheduled day but no big deal, honestly. They had to return another day because they hadn't been given sufficient tiles but again, not too bad. The problem was that something like half the tiles were not replaced or repaired. I reached out to Formula and they were more than obliging in sending someone back out to fix the broken tiles. Again, not a big deal. Sometimes things happen although this was now the third trip out and was starting to get annoying. On this fourth and final trip, there were a few parts I felt were questionable and I will give Formula credit, they were willing to come out and do some minor work on those to improve them. However, the previous guy had left a tool on the roof so…he had to come out to get that anyway…. The entire process took around four months due to long lags in return trips (and number of return trips) and even communication. All through this time, I was getting pinged for invoices that I needed to pay when I considered the job incomplete. While I appreciate their willingness to fix things, I think you can only have so many errors before it becomes a problem. That card, with my name misspelled on it, was just the thing that sent me over the edge after months of waiting and fixing and waiting.

  Everything began well, working with Formula to replace the damaged roof of my house through the insurance company. The first issue arose when they installed the incorrect color of shingles on the roof. Shame on me for accepting their mistake; it wasn’t worth tearing off the new shingles and replacing them with the correct color. When the work was completed, a dispute arose over the remaining balance because Formula’s numbers did not reconcile with the insurance companies. The provisions in their contract explicitly state that “I, the insured, will not be responsible for any monies not paid by the insurance company except for the deductible and optional upgrades listed on contract…”. They allege a higher amount was paid out to me than my insurance company has documented. While researching the issue with the insurance company, Formula contacted the title company handling my home closing and requested payment of the disputed amount, which appears to be a tactic to circumvent the terms of the contract we executed. I would not recommend using Formula for any of your roofing needs.
