  This was my third experience with Applewood, and I ask myself why didn’t I use them sooner. Michael was on time, he was professional, knowledgeable, cordial, and just a pleasure to work with. I appreciate every step of the way with Applewood, from my initial call, to the follow up, and particularly the bio sent of the technician who will be coming into my home. Are they more expensive than other companies? A bit, yes, but after using so many other companies in the past, I feel Applewood is worth my money which has been well spent with them. You get what you pay for, and I feel their service is top notch.

  I had a furnace inspection to check why parts of my house felt like they were heating/cooling properly. Sean M. Showed up on time, was very clean and respectful. He was very thorough and gave a detailed and clear explanation of what was going on. He was VERY knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He didn't pressure me to buy or repair anything right away he just showed us the cost and explained what kind of improvement we would see by doing the repairs/replacements. I am personally always hesitant about calling repair companies. I like many other people have been burned in the past. This was a very pleasant experience compared to that. I 100% recommend Applewood to anyone who needs to get their HVAC checked, repaired, or replaced. Sean was very personable, professional, and understanding. If the rest of their staff is half as good as him you will recieve 5 star service.

  Applewood takes advantage of seniors. They do NOT go by their standards or integrity. My senior neighbors, purchased a new washer and dryer. The reason for the call was the dryer kept shutting off after 15 minutes. Applewood came out and change the wall plug. It was working and not tripping the breaker box. No wall plug change was needed at $700.00. The Seniors simply needed to be aware of the heating switch, set on high so naturally the dryer would shut down to protect from overheating. Once they change to medium heat, the dryer ran all evening. The Electrian never informed them about the heating switch. SHAME on the Electrian who took advantage of these seniors. He told them they needed to replace their whole box for $12,000.00.

  Jack was absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to work with, I had a clogged and broken drain line below the basement slab causing water backup into my basement. Jack showed up on time and gave me repair options and got to work right away with the option of my choice. Jack did all the work by himself and completed the repair in one day and got my house back to a fully functioning home again. Now it’s up to me to put the basement back together. I Highly recommend Jack at Applewood Plumbing to anyone needing help. I’m Very happy with Applewood as a company and can’t say enough about Jack as a representative for the company. Only negative thing in my mind was the cost of the service. although, when you need work done now from a private company you have to accept the price. I would definitely use Applewood again!

  Beware of Applewood Heating and Plumbing. Do not sign up for their Gold Member Plan. It is not honored when you need them. I had a furnace blinking warning lights. This was after Applewood did a full inspection earlier. They said I needed over $2000 worth of repairs but it passed the inspection. I called them to return to get it running when temps were freezing last week. I told them I had no heat. They said they could not come until late on Thursday - 3 days later. I also explained a child care need at 5 pm that day. They said the would put me on a list to move up the service. They never did. They then did not show up at all on Thursday after telling me the service tech was on his way from Castle Rock at 3:45. They said at least 40 minutes. Their customer service dept and dispatch are below standard. I had another company make the repair with same day service at $250 and none of it was what the service tech said I needed priced at over $2000. Beware of this company. They are overpriced and their 2 hour windows are bogus. I asked for the owner Josh Ward to call me back. He does not care either. I asked for a refund of the Gold Club fee as well. We will see if that honor that.
