I called Johnny's and asked if they gave free estimates because my heat wouldn't come on. They said yes and made an appointment with me. Their hydronics experts came out and looked at my heating system for a few minutes, didn't even turn it on because they couldn't find the on switch, and quoted me a ridiculous amount to come back to diagnose it. Then they sent me a bill for doing nothing. When I complained, the representative I spoke with said they billed me for the diagnosis they did while they were here, but the estimate was to come back and diagnose the problem. Another plumber came out and flipped the boiler switch on, and it's worked fine ever since. Johnny's charged me $130 for a "free" estimate. Be very careful and get a second opinion from someone else.
