BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE This is one of the most dishonest companies we have ever dealt with! A zero-star rating would still be too generous. Our furnace stopped working, so we called them. The technician quickly diagnosed that we needed a new motherboard and motor — very expensive fixes. (We told him our thermostat showed two codes, both indicating a cleaning issue.) Then, almost like a “friendly tip,” he suggested getting a quote for a new furnace because ours was old — and scheduled a salesperson for the next day. Their quote? Nearly three times the cost of the “repair.” I asked how he could be certain the motor was bad or the motherboard failed. He told me he probably just connected the motor to power — something I later confirmed is physically possible. We got a second opinion. Another reputable company came out, found very dirty components, cleaned them, and our furnace ran perfectly afterward. That cost less than 1/20 of the “repair” quote and less than 1/60 of the cost of a new furnace. He also said he wouldn't recommend a new furnace at this point in time. That second company also quoted a furnace installation – far more reasonable: about half what It’s Done quoted, and just a third for a low-efficiency model. The It's Done service was sloppy: the tech took two days and repeated reminders to send a receipt. He took over a day and multiple asks to give a quote for the “fix.” The salesperson, meanwhile, made sure their quote for a new furnace was given to us before he left. When I confronted the salesperson about this, asking how he would rate his own company, he refused, defended the tech, and promised a manager would reach out. That never happened. We filed a complaint with the BBB. Their response? They said they simply diagnosed the problem. But that doesn’t explain why our motor now runs quietly, why cleaning fixed the problem, or why the thermostat still messages us — which they initially blamed on a failed motherboard. According to HVAC experts we consulted, if the motor were truly broken, we’d know. Either their technician is incompetent, a fraud, or seriously lacks integrity. Which is it, It’s Done? Their business model seems to be: Lie, Deny, Re-frame, and no I am not talking about United Healthcare in this case. They over-diagnose, up-sell extra services, and most customers never get a second opinion — so they never know how inflated the costs really are. There’s a pattern in other negative reviews: they recommend huge repairs, and people pay thousands, without questioning. To give credit where it’s due: they were polite, professional, and available on weekends (something other companies failed at). Their sales pitch was slick. But a smooth presentation doesn’t erase the deception. I assumed a big company would act honestly, but as someone in the trade told us, many large HVAC/plumbing outfits have quotas and big overheads — so they up-sell, in a friendly way, unsuspecting customers to keep profits high. This wasn’t even our first bad experience. They previously installed a faucet for us — one we bought elsewhere. The plumber seemed reluctant, and after installation, the faucet never worked. They pushed us to buy a faucet from them and pay for that install too They eventually said they’d install a replacement if we got the replacement, but I suspect they may have damaged it, either carelessly or intentionally, during the first install. One thing It's Done say in response to other bad reviews is: “Reach out to us”. But why would I waste 1 second on that when their own salesperson promised a manager would call — and nobody ever did? My time is better spent telling everyone I meet about your shady practices. Maybe if they stop bombarding us in expensive wasteful mail ads and improve the company. It’s Done: this isn’t baseball. You don’t get three strikes, two is enough.

Each time I call they are very good about getting me scheduled and communicating about the technician arrival time. They’ve been out 3 times now and every time the tech has been very personable and professional. They do a great job and I appreciate it!

My toilet was leaking at the base and Josh Tweed explained all options well. My toilet was over 20 years old and he didn’t want to see me putting any money into repairing it. I agreed and decided to have a new one installed. Josh did everything he could to keep the cost down plus did some extras for me. I will call definitely call Josh at Done Plumbing again.

Terrible/shady business practices. In 2022, DONE! recommended and complete full sewer line replacement for over $22,000, which we did. That line has never drained properly. Their own technician (Evan) who came out admitted the 2022 (Duncan?) was not done correctly and may not even meet code. Despite their advertised “lifetime warranty,” the company refuses to acknowledge or stand behind their improper work. They tried to charge me $83 dollars yesterday for something, then backtracked and attempted (unsuccessfully) to clear the backup. I currently can’t use water in my home per their recommendation yesterday 10/27/2025 until this matter is resolved I would avoid this company at all costs.
