These doors were more expensive than similar doors at HD, but after Terry in sales explained that they were a higher quality door, I went ahead and placed the order. After a timely delivery, I noticed that the heads were cracked on every single door! Ernie from Alpine came out to my home the same day I brought this to their attention. He explained that this was most likely the result of rough transportation in their delivery truck. He filled the split MDF and sprayed over with Killz. Aesthetically the doors looked fine after he covered the cracks. However, structurally - I had cracked joints at the top of every door. I needed an additional door that i picked up with my own vehicle a week later. This door was not cracked, but while I was standing on their loading dock I noticed other MDF doors with the same cracked heads. There is definitely a production issue that they are aware of but not being honest about. Too bad because their service was great orherwise.
