- DEDr ECO EsqDec 29, 20255.0We are very pleased with our deck designed and built by 5280 Outdoor Design in 2025. Justin was knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. Jaime our construction leader is a very talented craftsman. We requested some small changes in progress that were handled without trouble. 5280 was the most expensive quote we received, but we thought their design was the closest to what we wanted. The project came in at the price quoted but took longer than expected due to a slow permitting process with our city. The Timbertech product we chose for the floor of the deck feels great on your bare feet, but it does gouge more easily than I would like. We have already replaced one of the boards. We choose beetle kill pine to line the bottom of the roof. I was not expecting that many holes and I think I would choose a different wood if I had to do it over again. Have a look at our picture to help you decide. That small issue has not stopped us from enjoying the deck very much.
