  We are absolutely thrilled with the work TJ and the team at Mac Basement did on our kitchen remodel! From start to finish, TJ demonstrated exceptional skill, professionalism, and attention to detail. Our kitchen looks amazing—every aspect was thoughtfully planned and executed flawlessly. TJ’s work ethic and dedication truly set him apart. We couldn’t be happier with the results and would highly recommend Mac Basement to anyone looking for top-notch remodeling work!

  We are so pleased with the work that MAC Basement Company did for us! They finished 1,000 square feet of our basement and remodeled two bathrooms. The work was completed on time and on budget. TJ, the owner, is a true professional. He is easy to work with and was very accommodating to changes we requested along the way. TJ responded promptly to our texts/emails, which was very helpful to our understanding of the process and progress. He is respectful, knowledgeable and creative, an all-around super contractor!

  TJ McAleer and his business, Mac Basement Company, did an outstanding job on our renovation in Lafayette, finishing the remainder of our builder's partial completion of our walkout basement, plus doing a number of renovations throughout our whole house. We chose MAC after two neighbors on our street raved about their results, and we couldn't be happier. TJ delivered the project on time, completing it in just six weeks. He was great about handling all of our unique requests, including retaining our original tile for a tub to shower conversion, building a custom L-shaped mudroom bench, painting multiple spaces unique ways like our powder room ceiling and home theater from ceiling-to-floor, sealing and adding rubber flooring for our home gym, and replacing our entire house's carpet. TJ's team also did beautiful tile work for shower and vanity spaces, did thorough electrical work in most every room for accent lighting and special purposes like TVs and a home sauna, and replacing our stairway railing (while keeping the original spindles). Communication was excellent. TJ has a fantastic crew, checked in frequently to review progress, and lent a hand to do some the work himself, including touchups at completion. Highly recommended!

  Absolutely phenomenal experience with TJ and his crew at MAC Basement Company remodeling our laundry/mud room. Excellent communication, strong work ethic, superior product options, and efficient (yet fast) completion time. We have worked with TJ in the past and cannot speak more highly of him. Highly recommend!

  TJ and MAC Basement Company exceeded all expectations! I was reticent to get my basement done because I work from home and have had poor experiences with house projects in the past where I had to manage everything. Not with TJ. From start to finish he was an absolute pro and made everything seamless. On the front end, he designed an excellent space with a lot of difficult access points. He completed the project in 20 days, which was two weeks faster than we anticipated. Lastly, he is a great human being, and the finished space is stunning, especially for my home gym. I don't recommend a lot of people. However, I have, and will continue to, recommend TJ to all of my family, neighbors, and friends. I'd give six stars if I could!
