- EGeddie guarachaDec 10, 20242.0Door installation was great! Came back fairly quickly to address door insulation issue after noticing significant daylight around garage side door. Corrected quickly. I purchased front door and garage door. The main issue was the front door key didn’t match the back door key lock assembly. In addition, the front door arrived and door assembly was not what I expected. Front door was on back order and took over two months for installation. No issue with installation date. Front door and garage door ordered within a week apart. Unfortunately, the locking mechanisms didn’t match. Two separate keys required. I ordered same Schlage brand assembly for both doors. Turns out garage door lock assembly is made for interior doors! Didn’t know that until I had to call locksmith fix lock issue. (MD offered to send someone out, but they would have to take to locksmith. In order to avoid two fees, I called locksmith directly). Locksmith told me the garage door lock is meant for interior doors. I will need to purchase an additional proper door lock for garage door. I went to Mora Doors because they are a small vendor. Looking for the extra assistance as compared to a big shop. The reason I am posting well after installation was due to waiting for issue to be corrected and wasn’t. Not going back.
