Had an issue with my furnace and was dreading the process to get it fixed….I went to Steve’s 5 Star Service and I spoke to Steve about it. He told me that I needed peace of mind that the furnace was working properly and he made arrangements. With in 2 days I had a tech (John Zabatta) out to diagnose and explain all that was going on…He was quick and thorough and made a recommendation to replace the furnace…..he took the reigns and had made arrangements for installation the very next day.
Then came Andy and Mario, eager and early to do the work. They were courteous and kind and understanding. It didn’t take them any time at all to install a new furnace. Both of the young men were eager to explain and demonstrate the ins and outs of the system. They kept asking me if I had any questions and indicated that they were available for me. I really appreciated the service , and now I can sleep easier knowing I have a reliable product.Thank You !

We've used Steve's Five Star Service in the past and we loved them. So about 3 months ago we called them to replace our 15 yr old A/C. It worked great until we started using the heater because of the weather change. We bought a new Carrier unit R454B which they recommended since the old freon units were being phased out do to laws. This unit has been nothing but issues. It has a loud ringing/whistling noise every time the heater is on. You can hear it from the street (unit is on the roof). The heater sometimes works, it gets stuck on and blows cold air out. The only way to get it to work again is to flip the breaker.
For about a month now, I've been calling Steve's to come out and fix the issue. They haven't been able to. They've called Carrier Tech Support and claim they said the whistling is normal. But they went ahead and put an exhaust extension on to muffle the sound. It hasn't muffled anything. We paid $17k to Steve's for a lemon that they are unable to fix and won't replace it, claiming its Carrier.
I have a 95 yr old grandfather that now has to endure cold temperatures due to a temperamental unit that Steve's sold us. $17k for a piece of junk that I have to call every week to have them come out and tell me nothing is wrong with it. Steve's says its not them but they sold us the unit. I am so frustrated and had i known we'd have all these issues, we never would have bought the unit. We have now had to resort to using our fireplace and space heater for warmth waiting for them to arrive and probably tell me again nothing is wrong with it.

Steve’s installed my heating/ac unit plus replaced attic ducts and vent covers 15 years ago. They did a great job back then and have serviced my equipment ever since. I recently had a service request and heating and ac tune up. Chris Urzua did an excellent service and repair job. He went the extra mile on the forced air unit. His inspection of the heat exchanger might have saved me and my wife. He discovered a discolored area that looked like a hair line crack in the heat exchanger. He shared pictures and shared and recommended to replacement. I had an appointment set up for the following Monday. Mario and Jesse showed up.Monday morning. Very polite and friendly. They brought with them the new unit and removed and replaced the forced air unit. No small or easy job. But they did it and cleaned everything up. I was very happy with the respect and professionalism. I recommend Steve’s 5 Star service for all your heating and ac needs. Very happy customer

John Z just finished up his work at my home, bringing my central heating back to life after a long summer. Upon his arrival he quickly surmised the issues at hand, and then disclosed the "good news/bad news"perspective regarding what he'd seen. Following a brief departure for parts, John got the system up and running in no time! He shall be known as The Bringer of Heat by my people from this day forth. Lest the sigifcance of the title go unseen, in a house full of reptiles, which John quite deftly negotiated, I might well say(!) The Bringer of Heat is a lofty title indeed! In light of his skills displayed, prompt return, timely repairs and kind demeanor, I can only recommend that John Z well deserves a raise, a promotion and a vacation. He's a positive representative of your firm and contributes to the reputation of the company. (And you really should stencil Bringer of Heat on the door of his new corner office, just saying....) The enclosed picture depicts the beast who was afoot over the course of John Z's time here. Dudes a freaking hero!

Steve’s 5 Star Service absolutely saved our day! While we’ve used them for HVAC installation and service we hadn’t used their plumbing services before. After another area plumber was unable to break through a persistent kitchen drain issue, and suggested we would have to tear up our wood floors and dig through the slab to solve this problem, we called Steve’s 5 Star for a second opinion. Our technician Sean arrived to literally scope out the issue and he suggested a much less invasive solution. His knowledge of the alternative devices, his thorough explanation of the procedure, and his persistence to see the job through was very much appreciated. The problem has been diagnosed and solved and we did not have to pursue the more complicated, expensive and destructive solution we thought we were going to have to undertake. Thanks to Steve’s 5 Star Service for the great work and to Sean for his ability to explain and then perform the work to our satisfaction. His warm and friendly manner put us at ease as we navigated this issue.
