  I very much appreciate Competition Roofing's quick responsiveness and wonderful courtesy. They did a roof tune-up for us, and then when a question arose they immediately came back out. Then, months later when we had a question, they came right back out (turned out the problem was not roof-related at all). Everyone I have spoken to or interacted with has been kind and respectful, patiently answering all my many questions without making me feel bad for not knowing.

  We reached out to Competition after we noticed our roof leaking after the last heavy rain. They came out, gave us a quote and didn't constantly bug us to make a decision and sign a contract with pressure tactics.  I hate when companies try and pressure me to make a decision or the price will go up. We took our time and they answered our many questions since we wanted to be more thorough in the process than the last cheap roof we had installed just 11 years ago. Frankie and his team of roofers were friendly, professional and did a wonderful job on the roof and clean up. Our roof wasn't even that old, so I didn't think I'd notice much of a difference in the appearance, but it was like night and day! They painted all the old exhaust / plumbing vent pipes to blend in with the color of the shingles and the new attic vents blend in so well you hardly notice them. We also had all of the fascia boards replaced which made a huge difference. We love our new roof and highly recommend Competition Roofing.

  Competition Roofing was fantastic from start to finish. Frankie responded quickly, was friendly, and communicated clearly without any pressure tactics. The crew was respectful, professional, and completed the job within budget. Their craftsmanship is amazing—the roof looks beautiful—and they left the property clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Competition Roofing to anyone looking for quality work and a smooth experience.

I’ve dealt with four companies in recent years that I’d recommend without hesitation—and Competition Roofing now joins that short list. I interviewed several roofing companies, including the big-name firms you constantly hear advertised across Southern California. Two of those reminded me of the old-time car salesmen—slick, high-pressure, and vague on specifics. That’s not what I got from Bob and his wife, who own and operate Competition Roofing. They were involved from start to finish, not just signing the contract and disappearing. The crew that worked on my home was professional and took real pride in their work. Every day, they cleaned up thoroughly and left my property looking excellent. The craftsmanship was exactly what I hoped for. Bob also gave me a choice that most wouldn’t have even offered: I could go with the traditional overlapping side caps or opt for a cleaner, more modern finish without them. I went with the streamlined look, and the result speaks for itself—it’s sharp, durable, and well-executed. My background is in Vocational Education, so I know what quality labor and sound construction look like. I’ve done my own work over the years, but at this point in life, I hire carefully. I look for honest, knowledgeable, licensed contractors who treat the work like it matters—and Competition Roofing hit that mark exactly. If you’re looking for a roofing company that avoids the hype, keeps things straightforward, and actually cares about doing the job right, this is it.
