  So my roommate and I have been renting this apartment for like 6 months and we both kept getting sick with weird respiratory stuff. We thought maybe it was just allergies or something. Finally I noticed some fuzzy black stuff growing in the corner of our bedroom closet. Landlord kept saying it was no big deal but we didnt believe him. Paid for Pro Environmental Testing to come out ourselves just to have proof. Inspector did mold testing and air quality samples throughout the apartment. Results showed black mold in the closet and also found it growing behind the kitchen sink. Spore counts were way higher than they should be. The report was official enough that we could send it to the health department and use it to break our lease. Inspector was really cool about the whole situation and made sure we got extra copies of everything. Sometimes you gotta get professional documentation to make landlords take you seriously. Worth every penny to protect our health.

  okay so we bought this older house in Burbank and everything seemed fine until summer hit and we started smelling something funky in the master bedroom. Called Pro Environmental Testing and they scheduled us within 2 days. Inspector showed up with all this equipment and did moisture readings thermal scanning and took air samples. Turns out we had mold mitigation issues from an old roof leak that the previous owner never disclosed. Found it growing in the wall cavity and in the attic insulation above our room. He explained that the warm weather was making it worse which is why we just noticed it. Anyway got the full report with lab results and photos that we ended up using in our legal claim against the seller. The mold removal took about a week but they made sure we understood the process. They even came back to do clearance testing to make sure everything was completely gone. Honestly these guys saved us from a way bigger problem.

  We run a small preschool and one of our staff members kept complaining about headaches and dizziness at work. I was worried it might be air quality related so I contacted Pro Environmental Testing for a complete inspection. They came out during our closed hours and did air quality testing in every classroom the kitchen and the office areas. Also checked for mold in all the bathrooms and storage spaces. Turns out they found mold growing in our supply closet from a leaky window we didnt even know about. The inspector understood the sensitivity of working in a childcare facility and made sure we had documentation for our licensing board. After the mold removal was completed they did follow up testing to verify everything was safe before the kids came back. Our staff members symptoms went away completely. When youre responsible for childrens health you cant take any chances and Pro Environmental Testing treated it with the seriousness it deserved.

  My son has severe allergies and our pediatrician suggested we test our Hollywood Hills home for mold and air quality issues. Pro Environmental Testing came out and did comprehensive air sampling throughout the house plus surface testing in areas that looked suspicious. The inspector was really patient answering all my questions about how mold affects respiratory health. Turns out they found black mold growing in our HVAC system that had been circulating spores every time we ran the AC. No wonder my son was always congested at home but felt better at school. Fortunately the mold abatement process took a few days but they kept us informed the whole time. We did another air quality test after the work was done and everything came back clean. Since then my sons symptoms have improved so much. Thank you for helping us figure out what was making him sick.

  My basement flooded during the storm last month and by the time we got the water pumped out I was paranoid about mold. Called Pro Environmental Testing about a week later and they came out pretty fast. Inspector used this moisture detection equipment on all the walls and floors to check if anything was still damp inside. Found elevated readings in two sections of drywall so he took samples there. Fortunately we acted quick enough that mold was just starting to form. He explained that another week or two and it wouldve been a much bigger problem. Got the mold mitigation done and they came back to retest everything. All clear now. Really appreciated how he educated me on warning signs to watch for and how to prevent it from happening again if we ever have flooding. Knowledge is power and these guys actually teach you instead of just doing the work and leaving.
