  I decided to get my home inspected for mold ever since the recent rains. I called multiple different companies but no one took me seriously. I then found Pro Environmental Testing and I was so happy to see the reviews matched the service. Liam came out to give an inspection and he was very knowledgeable, thorough, and kind.   Our Beverly Glen home started smelling musty after the rainy season and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Called Pro Environmental Testing and the inspector found mold growing behind our washing machine and in the wall cavity behind it. He explained that slow leaks over time had created the perfect environment for mold. Did air quality testing throughout the house to check if spores had spread to other areas. Thankfully it was contained. The inspector was honest about what needed professional remediation versus what we could handle ourselves. Saved us money by not recommending unnecessary services.   Bought a older home in Encino Village and our realtor insisted we get mold testing done. Pro Environmental Testing did a complete inspection from top to bottom. Inspector checked the crawlspace, attic, all the bathrooms, kitchen, everywhere. Used some thermal imaging camera to find moisture we couldn't see. Took air samples in multiple rooms. Found some issues in the master bathroom and laundry room that we used to negotiate the price down. Report was detailed with photos and lab results.   We adopted a rescue dog and within a few weeks he started having respiratory issues and constant scratching. Vet couldnt find anything wrong and suggested environmental allergies. Someone mentioned mold can affect pets too so we called Pro Environmental Testing. They did a complete home inspection with air quality testing in all the rooms where our dog spends time. Found mold growing under our living room carpet from an old water heater leak the previous owners never told us about. The inspector was really knowledgeable about how mold affects animals not just people. After the mold removal and carpet replacement our dogs symptoms cleared up completely. Hes like a different dog now. Never wouldve thought to check for mold if someone hadnt mentioned it. Really appreciate how thorough they were and how they took our dogs health seriously.

  We've lived in our Sherman Oaks house for 12 years and never had any issues until this winter when we started getting heavy moisture in the attic. My wife has asthma so we were really concerned about mold. Pro Environmental Testing sent out a certified mold specialist who spent almost two hours checking everything. He climbed into the attic, used moisture meters on all the walls, and did comprehensive air quality testing in every bedroom. Found some mold starting to grow on the attic insulation but caught it early. The inspector was patient explaining how the moisture was getting in and what we needed to do long term to prevent it. He even followed up a week later to make sure we understood the report. That kind of customer care is rare these days. The remediation crew they recommended did great work too.
