  Dominic and his team offer honest, reliable, very thorough and highly personalized service - they mean it when they say 'custom' painting. He completely transformed the exterior of our 1896 Victorian farmhouse and helped us pick a 4-color palette that balanced historic character with our own personal flair. Over 20 windows and doors and a dozen shapely columns on our wraparound porch include very elaborate wood elements that are typical of Victorian ornamentation and require multi-color treatment. His team made sure that each and every surface was painted with care and precision, and they also skillfully restored portions of the wood that needed it to ensure the exterior was preserved and really 'popped'. He first painted our house in 2021 and five years later the paint is still intact and fantastic. We had him buy for a five year check up and they carefully washed the whole house and touched up on a few areas. The team is kind, personable, and professional- and their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the work. I will never work with another painter crew than SDCP.   UPDATE: We needed an urgent painting of the concrete around our pool and at our steps to make our home look decent, and Dominic and his team took care of us with just 3-4 days notice. I was sure I was going to have to just do it myself and live with the bad result. Nope: Dominic sent Michael out and the results were great again, and for a reasonable price as well. We originally had the company paint the exterior of our three-story narrow house that sits oddly on a hill. They were reasonably priced and Dominic was incredibly detail-oriented and careful to identify any problems and issues that were likely to arise for the paintwork and ways they'd overcome these issues. The other companies I spoke with were, well, just going to paint our house. Dominic was more interested in making sure it looked and was done right. He had a young team take on the job, and it was done on time and without add-on charges or anything of the sort. That was last year, and the paint still looks great. We had them touch up a deck walkway area and they even sorted out the tiling we needed for part of the job. We needed the interior of our house painted, and we went straight to Dominic again for their help a couple months ago. They accommodated our travel schedule; we moved things a bit in the house, and when we came back the job was done. The interior painting was a much bigger effort, because we have vaulted ceilings with stained wood, a few cracks in the walls, so many holes to patch from hooks, random painting spots to sort out in the kitchen due to mismatched cabinetry, hangers from the vaulted ceiling, etc etc., and an exposed electrical cable in a closet that Massela Electric installed incompetently. We came back to a completed job: the electrical cable was gone, hidden in the wall behind a textured and painted surface so good I would have never guessed they had done anything to it. All the damage to the walls and ceilings were fixed. The vaulted ceiling was sanded and painted perfectly. Each room was better than we'd hoped. They found our upstairs bathroom sink drain was clogged and they fixed that, no charge. Dominic and his team went beyond to make sure we just didn't have the house painted. They understood that we needed it to look as we'd hoped, that it had been taken care of and was finished with care. They handle other things beyond painting to make sure you're happy. We recommend them unreservedly. Before and after photos added: wood ceiling and beat up pool area before, clean and white results after.
