    I called this company 4 times requesting an estimate for a whole house standby generator. I never heard back. I even asked to please return my phone call if they were too busy....not any reply. Not a good way way to run a business.

    I had a Generac generator and transfer switch installed by an electrician who used to live in Simi. The power never went out so it never came on. After realizing it wasn't doing the self-test, I took a look and saw it had a red and yellow light where it should have been green. I saw an ad for GenStar Power Systems and spoke with Steve Poore, the owner. Steve is fabulous to work with. He came over quickly with one of his electricians to see what the problem was. After a thorough exam, it was decided that the transfer switch was not wired correctly so Steve brought in Walt who spent about 2 hours rewiring the switch and testing. The power went off 2 days ago and the generator came on within seconds and the whole house powered up within a couple of minutes. I can't over emphasize how great it is to work with Steve and his electricians. They are knowledgeable, efficient, and fair priced.

    Installed a 23KW generator and the guys were great. Fast easy installation at a reasonable price. I can't wait for the next power outage, because I am now prepared, thanks to Steve.
