  First time picking up an excavator from this location was a great experience. The process was so smooth and professional, every worker I interacted with was very kind and welcoming. Shout out to both yard guys who had everything set up and ready to go, as well as the other one as I came to return it.

  I just wanted to quickly share what a great experience I had working with United Rentals, both with a sales rep, and the local individuals who worked with me at their Santa Rosa location. I purchased a used JLG 1014 trailer through United Rentals sales team. Tracking down one of these drop deck trailers takes a lot of work because they don't become available very often. I got a call that one was available, and I quickly agreed to purchase it. The process was simple and after they charged my card, I scheduled a day to drive to the bay area to pick it up. Upon arriving they swapped out the coupler to what I needed, helped get it connected, and I was back on the road within 30 minutes. On my way home I had an issue with the trailer that wasn't noticed during their inspection. It wasn't a huge issue by any means, but one which needed to be addressed. I honestly thought I'd be on my own because it was sold as-is, but I pinged the sales rep when I got home and he immediately contacted the Santa Rosa location on my behalf. Within 10 minutes I had a call from them. Wow! They absolutely wanted to make it right and asked that I bring the trailer back to get the issue taken care of, but I'm in Sacramento, so that's not as easy as it sounds. In the end and with zero effort on my part, they worked with me to resolve the issue well beyond my expectations. On top of that, they were respectful, communicative, and overall, I couldn't have been more impressed. Issues happen, but what I can say is, the people I had the pleasure of working with during this process at United Rentals demonstrated something that is sorely lacking these days, customer service. That customer service was there before the sale and after the sale. And to be honest, I can't recall a recent experience where I was more impressed with their dedication to their customers than this. For reference, I have never rented a thing from UR, so it's not like I had a history with them or they wanted to help because I had a big account. Nada. That is what most impressed me, and I'm not mentioning names, but if you see this, you all know who you are. Thank you for putting the customer, first! UR is lucky to have you guys. A+
