  I am so appreciative of the crew from BLYSS Construction and my contact Danielle Hall for a job well done! The work was high quality and ahead of schedule. The advice we got was well thought out and detailed. Between the gorgeous Hardie siding and the fresh paint, they made an aging house look new again. I highly recommend this company.

  Blyss Construction of Santa Rosa was a pleasure to work with. We had them remove all old siding, repair all exterior dry rot, install insulation, sheathing, wrapped with weather barrier, and covered with James Hardie siding. The team has a positive ‘can do’ attitude. Their carpentry skills are high-level. A large beam that acted as a header over our garage door needed to be replaced, along with a vertical post that supported a cover by our front door. They popped these out and replaced them with minimal carpentry hours. Super efficient and cost effective. Their finishing work is also done with care and detail. After they started, I had them replace an exterior door and door frame. They made this process easy, and provided a reasonable price despite very little lead time. The crew was always working, wasn’t blasting music, kept a clean work site, and presented themselves professionally. They provided paint codes that match the siding color we selected so we could color match a small spot we did not have re-sided. I was not happy with some inside trim related to the door replacement. They had a team onsite within 45 minutes to resolve the very minor issue. This team operates with integrity.

  I first learned of Blyss Construction a few months ago. Background info looked good and we started my 2nd-story house siding project near the end of November, 2023. The crew arrived on time, completed work within the forecast completion date, there was little to no intervention from me. They did good cleanup of the surrounding yard, and I got a nice surprise of new redwood railing on a second-floor deck that had rotted away. My area has seen more than a little rain and wind since project completion, and so far, no leaks, everything still looks very good. I expect I won't need to worry about much maintenance of the 2nd floor exterior for another 15 years. 2024 Follow-up - Was thinking I would just paint the first floor, ultimately chose to upgrade it to match the exterior upper floor. ...and it does! Eleven months later, and everything matches really well. The crew was there and out within about a week, same great service, same great quality.

  Beautiful work. New insulation, sheathing, siding, windows and slider door with the james hardy color plus siding. Turned out beautifully. We are very pleased and look forward to working with Blyss Construction on our next project.

  We had all of the siding on our home replaced with Hardie lap siding. It went smooth and was quicker than we thought it would be. The crew was on time and finished in four days.
