- JLJustin LopezFeb 25, 20201.0I rent from Herc rentals constantly for my business. This rental was for a stump grinder. I had called to see what it would cost to rent for 45 minutes he said he could rent it for $100. I needed it for 45 minutes which was verbally stated to the gentleman at the front desk. He said he would adjust the price according which was the $100. After the rental was returned within the 45 minutes, and the money was taken off my card for just shy of $200 I presumed to ask why so much for 45 minutes? The manger had said, “ unless it was stated it was only going to be 45 minutes there is nothing they can do” after this was said I went to say “ you just told me it would only be $100 for the 45 minutes, and it was also started that I only needed it that long before I even rented it” the manger then went to say “ sorry can’t go back now”. Don’t tell me something and then have it changed later on.
