  Purchased a chlorinator system 3 months ago and pump stopped working for no reason was in a place where no water or elements could damage it . Installed correctly . Called to get it replaced had to wait for tech to call which wasn't done I had to call back and was told they would send a new pump and expedite by 2 people and send ups . Item was shipped but not expedited now have to wait a week for item and our house reeks of rotten egg smell . Matter was not handled to my satisfaction and feel like the product is cheaply made and should of not went bad after 3 months . I would rather havey money back then deal with this again over and over .

  In March of 2025, I ordered a PFAS filter, a water softener, and a reverse osmosis filter from this company. Unfortunately, the person who worked with me on my order neglected to tell me that the water softener requires drain access (or at least outdoor drainage), this was not going to work for my house. When I called the company back to return the unit (I was told I had 90 days to return), I got no response for at least a week. I followed up only to find out that the representative with whom I was working was no longer employed with the company. The new representative told me that he had to get approval from his manager to return this water softener (you can probably already sense where this is going). After a couple of weeks, and some poorly managed communications from the company, I was told that I could return the unit, but I would have to pay for the shipping myself. The unit cost approximately $1500. Anyone care to guess what shipping costs (spoiler: it was over $1000)? Coupled with a 25% restocking fee, I was looking at basically being bilked for $1500. My final communique from the company suggested I sell the unit on Craigslist. Caveat emptor seems to be the guiding star of this company (let the buyer beware). If you choose to do business with them, be very, very careful you only order exactly what you need, and you'll likely need a good plumber for the installation (I did mine myself and, in a twisted turn of events, a water heater failure, and a good plumber led to the correction of my work to bring it up to code). While I am satisfied with the products that I am currently using (the two water filters), I will definitely be looking for a different supplier when it comes time to replace the filters. I strongly suggest seeking the competition before placing an order with Clean Water Systems and Stores Inc.

  Prices are fare and customer support is very helpful and informative to make sure you are getting the right stuff for your specific water problem.

  I purchased the Pro Ox Air Iron filter system since I had iron in my water. Initially the unit worked but there is a huge design flaw which is the main reason not to buy this unit. The Iron sludge that is oxidizing in the top of the tank clogs all of the injectors/parts and then it fails to create the air pocket. This reduces the efficiency overall. Then it starts forcing water backwards into the chemical tank which blows the tube out of the connector and eventually overflows the tank. I called the clean water store 7 times over the course of a week for help - nothing but a machine. Covid is not an excuse since everybody else is working (and answering the phone) just fine from home. Maybe their other filters are better than this one but there is no excuse for not answering the phone (I sent emails too) so be advised. I'm trashing this unit after just 8 trouble filled months. What a waste.
