I had already spoken with some other equipment rental companies- none of them were helpful or seemed to care if I used their company or not. Alex listened to what I need to do, I thought I needed a scissor lift, but he asked the right questions and helped me understand that I needed a scaffolding tower. He took the time to care what I needed to accomplish and helped me understand the options he could provide, and what he would do if he were in my position. I ended up with the tower. When I arrived to pick it up a couple of days later Alex was behind the counter and remembered me, and what I needed. He took the time to make sure I knew what to do, how to set up the equipment, and to tell me the best way to get the equipment back in time to pay as little as possible. The equipment was not only clean, but it all worked as it was supposed to, not something you usually get with rental equipment. When I returned to drop the equipment off he was again behind the counter, remembered me, and helped me get unloaded and on my way as quickly as possible. Not only was United Rentals in Santa Ana clean, the equipment was clean and in perfect order. Alex is the kind of person you want working for you if you are the business owner, and the kind of person you want helping you if you are the customer. We need more people like Alex in the world, and United Rentals should give him a raise because he makes UR look good. No, I do not know Alex other than as I have explained here, but he deserves to be acknowledged for his workmanship and customer service.

Alex S. is very knowledgeable and he explained all the safety features and tips. He also show/explain to me how to set it up properly. Everything went really well. Definitely 5 star service!!
