  The technician was courteous and professional. He found a couple of minor issues and made recommendations. They were some cleaning and installing a surge protector. I was pleasantly surprised when he was able to do in the same visit. I was expecting another visit.

  Fantastic visit today by Technician John Renteria. He arrived on time with a very pleasant and patient demeanor. He walked me through the entire inspection and I was able to see all my systems ailments. My wife and I will be able to make an informed decision on what our next step will be as far as repairs. We would definitely recommend Dial One and especially Technician John Renteria.

  This company is dishonest and will try to upsell you when you don’t need things. I used this company first because they took over another company that had installed my hvac system in southern Ca. I loved the original company. They put in a great system for a fair price. I naturally continued on with dial one sonshine when they absorbed the company who installed my system. I also recommended dial one to my mother and my aunt. Slowly I began to notice that dial one would come out to do maintenance and push upgrades on me. In speaking with my mom and also my aunt, they said they were being pushed to buy those same upgrades. I told my mom and aunt to just call me so we could discuss, prior to buying the costly upgrades. The end for me though was when two years after Dial One Sonshine installed a whole new split system HVAC system in my aunts home, which I was present for upon installation, they came out to do a service and told my aunt she needed all new ducts, costing several thousand dollars. These same ducts were reportedly in near perfect shape two years earlier, and no one other than Dial one had been in her attic since then. My aunt was very upset and I told her to ask to speak to management to try to resolve it. She spoke with the CEO of Dial One who said he’d look into it, and she never heard from the company again. I sent a home inspector friend to inspect the ducts afterwards and he found a small tear in one of the ducts that was easily repaired with some hvac tape. Stay away folks unless you like dealing with con men who likely work on a commission, thus the need to upsell constantly. Shame on Dial One.

  Nathan is very pleasant and humble. I am sure the pressure of goals and the job responsibilities set forth by the company are not aligned to genuinely help the customer but more towards a sales strategy to make the most out of every opportunity which was pretty clear from the start of the interaction. It seemed that instead of truly identifying the root cause to solve it was more about how to use options to ultimately sell a predetermined package deal. I am sorry but I won’t be dialing or recommending this number again.

  We had an excellent experience with Jesse and his team. Our water heater went out, and with a newborn and a 6-year-old at home, having hot water restored quickly was a top priority. Jessie was able to get a team out the very next day, which was a huge relief for our family. Not only did they replace the water heater efficiently, but Jesse also took the time to educate us on the benefits of a water softener without any pressure. Based on his knowledge and professionalism, we felt confident moving forward with that purchase as well. My senior mom owns the home and can be pretty particular about how things are done. After the installation was completed, she changed her mind about part of the setup—which we knew was a big ask. Jesse and his team were incredibly patient and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure everything was adjusted to her satisfaction. Their responsiveness, professionalism, and willingness to stand by their work really stood out. We’re very grateful and would highly recommend Jesse and his team to anyone in need of plumbing services.
