    Anderson Plumbing Heating and Air over the years has installed a complete HVAC system, completely replumbed the sewer system, installed a tankless water heater, and most recently, troubleshot and fixed inconsistent hot water temperature control and insufficient water flow coupled with a significant pressure drop. For close to twenty years, Anderson PHA has been my first and only choice to have this type of work done. Their work has always been top notch, thorough, and implemented by conscientious employees. I always know there will be no reason for a call back due to something missed. The last work done was no exception. The issue was that the tankless water heater would randomly shut off the flame while in use and would report an error. Judd Anderson arrived to troubleshoot the system and discussed with me potential causes and asked additional questions such as if other gas appliances were running at the time or if the water pressure was adequate. The water pressure was never adequate since we’ve owned the house and I was considering having the water supply system replumbed. Judd systematically went through the system and measured pressure at multiple locations and spoke with the water heater manufacturer to determine what could trigger the error code. Judd performed a partial tear down of the water heater and cleaned and inspected the burner assembly and descaled the water passages. He also removed an unused drainless reverse osmosis system from the inlet to the house. The system had shown some improvement but it wasn’t sufficient in Judd’s opinion. He then looked in the crawl space under house and found a forgotten and very old gate valve in the system. Apparently long term degradation of the water flow and lack of routine water heater maintenance were the culprits for the inconsistent water temperature. The next day Judd and a second plumber, Francisco, replaced 60 feet of a smaller diameter PVC pipe with a larger diameter copper pipe and relocated a pressure regulator to outside the house so that there were no unregulated pressure lines under the house. They also fixed one cold water faucet line that was bypassing the water softener. The result was no more issues with the hot water, very good water flow throughout the house with multiple valves on and, I no longer have the need to completely replumb the house, saving me what I guess to be thousands of dollars.

    I experienced an issue where I couldn't turn off the hot water in my shower. Anderson dispatched Rudy on New Year's Eve within about an hour of my call. He gave me the options and I opted for a rebuild of my faucet (replace stems, valves, etc.). He left for about an hour to get parts. Once back, I think he spent maybe 30 minutes doing the entire work. I was blown away at the speed. The new handles work great and no more leaks (a secondary issue I was having with the cold water handle). Great service and great work!

    A few years back I was a satisfied Anderson customer. After a fire that gutted everything in my garage I needed a new hot water system. I deferred to the insurance contractor who installed a tank that didn’t work. After several frustrating experiences with them I decided to return to Anderson. Edgar the technician spent a day here diagnosing the issues and found a bad gas line to the tank that the other guy never noticed. Edgar was so superb he insisted on coming back on Christmas Day to install the new gas line as he said, “I can’t stand leaving my customers without hot water.” I refused to let him ruin his own holiday, and he returned the day after and got everything back in tip top shape. It’s a relief to know Anderson really does hold up to what their commercials advertise!

    We just had a great experience this morning with Cody Cotton, the technician who came to service our heating system through our AMP HVAC Tune-up plan. Scheduling the appointment was convenient and easy, Cody called and texted us to let us know when he would be arriving, and he was very courteous, professional, and personable. He answered ALL of my questions and went over everything with me and confirmed my understanding. He alleviated several concerns I had, and was able to help me understand a more technical aspect I was concerned about. He was very thorough, honest, and did not try to upsell me, which was a refreshing change from other companies I’ve spoken with in the past. I am very pleased with today’s appointment and am very happy to be on the Anderson Maintenance Plan. I would welcome Cody back in to my home anytime. He is an excellent representative for Anderson.

    This was a large job spanning a couple of weeks. My plumbing team consisted of two young up-and-comers. Initially I was skeptical due to the age. I prefer older and experienced workers. Josh and Kevin proved otherwise. I appreciate the dynamic. Josh was the trainer and Kevin the trainee. Both shared duties while Josh taught the step-by-step process to Kevin. Both arrived daily, motivated with positive attitudes. I was instructed each morning on work was being performed. I would frequently ask questions which were welcomed and professionally executed. Towards the end of each day, I was visually shown their progress and instructed on what was to come. When the job concluded, I felt like I had made a professional acquaintance and will recommend this company to others. I thank Josh and Kevin for the quality of service and repair. One more thing, I have to include “Moe.” He came out for a day and lined the main pipe. His personality caught my attention. I am big on respect and professionalism. These three employees shined bright during this job. They proved beyond their years of age.
