We highly recommend this company. They were prompt and found a few safety things missing from our new home’s system. Our technician was knowledgeable and was able to explain the issues in a way that gave us confidence the work was actually needed. We also got a text giving us background on our technician. It was nice.

They have been checking my furnace for several years. . Today a fantastic gentleman came to check our furnace. Extremely honest . His name is Alex Mora . He is a real pro. I can’t say enough good things about this man . I know more about my furnace than ever before. He didn’t look for things that were wrong he looked for things that were right. He even pointed out a pipe that was rusty leading to the furnace that I should get fixed by a plumber. I’m very thankful for this company and People Like Alex Mora….

Update on my review: I called in per the message below. When I spoke to the person she told me that they wouldn't do anything for me. The issue I have is that this company did the work. The work has caused damage to the house we live in and they are unwilling to be accountable. So they aren't actually willing to help as stated below. So thi means that if they go out of business for something else they do, I think I can make the deduction that they won't be accountable for that either. Also-my Yelp review was taken down because I'm not the original customer. Then the person I spoke with told me their company didn't report it that Yelp themselves would be the one to take it down. So Yelp is now according to her, cross checking client names and files, with reviews. This doesn't sound right but I'm planning on contacting Yelp to see what they have to say. I would not recommend this company and wish I could give 0 stars. They put solar panels on the house we just purchased in 2021. Now they no longer do solar panels and told me that because we don't have the contract they won't help us. So basically they will not honor the work they did. Any business that I would want to use would own up to the issue and help out. These people will not do that. Think that through when considering this company.

Work performed: Full HVAC replacement and conversion to all-electric system Location: Fallbrook, CA Date of service: November 2020 When we bought our house in late 2020, we hired Action AC to replace our outdated (and long-recalled) HVAC system. The salesperson was friendly and persuasive, and we agreed to an all-electric setup to align with our solar system. That part of the sale made sense — the system is energy-efficient and works reasonably well. Unfortunately, almost everything else about the experience fell short of professional standards. Installation quality: The outdoor condenser was installed on a dirt slope using nothing more than a flimsy plastic pad. I raised concerns about stability during installation, but the crew brushed it off. The unit was never secured to the pad — just placed there. Years later, the slope eroded, causing the entire unit to tilt. I now need to pay about $1,000 to have another contractor correct it properly. Any competent installer should have flagged the erosion risk before setting the unit down. Refrigerant leak: Not long after installation, the system failed. We later learned coolant had been spilled during the install and the unit had run dry. To their credit, Action AC did come back to repair that issue under warranty. Wi-Fi control — never worked: Part of what we purchased was a Wi-Fi-enabled system. The installers said they “didn’t know anything about that” and left. It took months of follow-up before another technician came out, who admitted he wasn’t yet Daikin-certified (Daikin is the system brand). After hours of trial and error, he still couldn’t get the Wi-Fi feature to work. Five years later, we still can’t use a feature we paid for. Safety oversight: During the conversion to electric, Action AC removed the old natural-gas heater but left an open, uncapped gas line under the house — literally a potential explosion hazard. I eventually discovered it and capped it myself. That’s not just sloppy; it’s dangerous. Bottom line: Action AC sold us a system that functions but failed us in execution, follow-through, and basic safety practices. From an unsecured installation to an uncapped gas line and a Wi-Fi feature that never worked, it’s hard to recommend them. The only reason this isn’t a one-star review is because the core system itself performs adequately and one repair visit was handled without hassle. If you’re considering hiring Action AC, I’d strongly advise insisting on written confirmation of certifications, verifying all installation details before sign-off, and double-checking any work that involves gas or electrical conversions.
