  Been a customer for years in our other home. Professional, punctual and delivered on what they promised. Today was our first service from them in our new location. David was our technician and his professionalism, thoroughness and excellent communication reminded me why they are the obvious choice for any HVAC needs we have. As a business owner I have great respect for those who do what they do well. David is certainly an example of that and a wonderful ambassador for Action Air

  From start to finish Action Air Conditioning and Heating were professional, eager to anwer any and all questions and I highly recomend them should you need assistance with your HVAC system. Thomas created an extremely detailed quote for me including every item to be installed with my new system with photos of each. Robert and Harley were extremely polite and explained to me what they were doing each step of the way. These young gentlemen have a very bright future. They also explained to me how the inspection process worked. First the HERS inspection and then the City of Oceanside. Both have inspected the work and have given my new system the seal of approval. Action also made financing easy with an outside agency who offered 0% financing for one year. Action Air made a situation that could have been stressful into one that left me at ease and confident I had chosen the best company for the job.

  Alex our Technician was very thorough. Walked me through all the steps. This was our first Complimentary service from our AC Heating unit installation the year prior. Alex explained in detail the best way to maintain our big investment; and set us up with a service plan going forward. Plan is reasonable and cost effective. Extremely pleased with Alex. Represents Action AC & Heating VERY WELL! Has a Bright future ahead! Thank you Alex!

  New Heat pump installation: Neil from the sales team was highly responsive and a pleasure to work with. The installation team, Roberto and Giovanni, was truly amazing. They arrived on time, maintained great communication throughout the process, and completed the installation professionally and on schedule. Our new system is very quiet, and we love it. I would happily recommend Action Air Conditioning & Heating anytime.

  My latest experience with action air was exceptionally disappointing. We had a technician come for a routine check in and noted that we had smelled a faint amount of gas. The technician identified a hole and fixed it, charging us $250 to replace the flexible pipe because it was technically not part of the system. We were just happy a leak was found. Three days later we ran our heating and smelled something off again, so I called back and mentioned we were still noticing the smell. They assured they would send someone the next day and of course it would be no additional cost. The same technician came out the next day, spent 15 minutes inspecting and found “a giant hole” in our main pipe. Then said because it wasn’t part of the HVAC system we needed to pay $250 for his time, despite that we were told we wouldn’t be charged. He stressed that we needed to turn off the gas and call in a plumber and it wasn’t his fault it wasn’t caught the previous visit. He said he would send a video so we could share with a plumber (he didn’t) as well as documentation (also never happened). The best was after charging us he proceeded to sit in his car in front of our house for over an hour and I found out logged he was working at our house for that entire time. We had 2 additional plumbers come out the very next day concerned we had a massive leak. Both spent 1+ hours searching for this “giant hole” and couldn’t not find any evidence of leaking. Both companies were extremely nice and didn’t charge us at all for their time, despite each of them spending more time helping us than the Action Air technician did. When I called in to Action I was dismissed by the team, chastised for not calling SDGE instead (this was before I discovered no leak actually existed). It felt like the technician may not have completed his job properly the first time resulting in some residual smell, and then made up a story to cover and charge us for it, loitering in front of our house afterwards to make it appear like he was putting in a lot more effort than he did. All in all, this was a very disappointing experience. I’d put negative stars if I could. By the way, the response from the company is to call or text to contact them - I've already contacted them 3+ times regarding this issue and every time they are not helpful. Don't trust their responses here as they are obviously AI generated if they recommend to reach out when the original complaint was that when I did reach out they were rude and crooked.
