If you own a business we warn you not to use Sunbelt! We called to rent a piece of equipment to be delivered at a specified date and time. At the time of booking we stressed that the delivery be on time and was assured that it would be no problem.The prices they quoted us were competitive with other rental places in the area and they were less than two miles from our jobsite. When the day arrived the unit was late, we called the Sunbelt office and were told "the rental is on a truck". This was useless information at the time, so we had about 12 people from all over the country waiting for the unit. I asked the person I spoke to that morning to have Clint, the original person we spoke to there about the rental call me back. I received no communication. The next day I called and spoke to Clint and he told me he didn't get any message. I asked Clint for a receipt of the rental and again given the no problem answer. Again nothing. The next day, we called back and spoke to a "manager" who had so many excuses it was pathetic (We have GPS on the trucks, etc.), but they deny that the 15 or so people waiting for them all noted when the unit arrived. So if you want a company that cannot make deliveries as promised, refuse to communicate with you, ignore your requests, not take responsibility for their failures, take up to three days to pick the unit up (told to me by the "manager" all the time i am sure you are responsible for it even though you only wanted a one day rental) and give you nothing but aggravation use SUNBELT RENTALS! Every local rental option must be better!

Is a deposit required for a reservation?
For customers without a line of credit, Sunbelt Rentals does not require a deposit to rent tools and equipment. However, you will be asked for payment information when you make your reservation. Your credit or debit card will not be charged for the rental period (one ((1)) day minimum) until you pick up the equipment.
For Credit Customers, we will secure a deposit for your reservation. This deposit will be held within your account until the rental equipment is returned and the contract closed. Apply for a credit account here.
If your project is quick and you only need the equipment for a few hours, Sunbelt Rentals does offer a Rapid Return rate. Return the equipment within four (4) hours of the pickup time and we will refund the difference of the Rapid Return rate. Rates will vary based on product. What if I need to keep my equipment longer?
If you need assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can extend the rental for you. When you keep the equipment longer, we will add the additional time and charges to your contract and credit card. Please refer to the rental contract, where the day, week and 4-week rates are shown for each piece of tool and equipment.
Can I return rented equipment at any location?
Typically, equipment should be returned to the same location where you initially rented it. If you need to return it to a different location, please contact the store where you rented the equipment for guidance. It’s advisable to call ahead so we can assist you in finding a convenient alternative location for your return. Your convenience is our priority.
What is the cost for the delivery of equipment to my location?
The delivery charge is calculated based on the category and class of equipment, the location of the rental location, the distance of the project site from the rental location.
Can I get tools and equipment delivered to me?
Yes, Sunbelt Rentals offers convenient delivery options from our extensive network of locations for a reasonable fee. When making a reservation, simply select the delivery option. During the reservation process, you can specify the delivery drop-off date and time, as well as your estimated equipment pickup date. The estimate is for our planning purposes and not a final date.
To initiate our equipment pickup service, you must confirm the end of your rental via the app or by phone. Additionally, if you have specific delivery instructions or prefer a designated contact person for coordination, please include those details when submitting your reservation.
For businesses utilizing a commercial credit account, associated delivery and pickup fees will be reflected in your invoice.
To receive notifications about your delivery, adjust your settings in your account to receive reminders and updates related to your delivery and pickup.
What happens if a tool breaks or quits working while I am renting it?
Sunbelt Rentals inspects and services each piece of equipment prior to each rental and should be in good working order. If you experience problems with the tool while renting it, please go to the specific Equipment Detail page within the reservation to request service. If you need additional assistance, please contact the branch of the equipment rental and they can arrange for next steps or a replacement. If you want to have protection in the event of damage, Sunbelt Rentals offers a Rental Protection Plan (RPP), which can be purchased at the start of your rental.
