These guys are great. They are knowledgeable, they make great suggestions as to things that could save you money and/or time, and they explain things so that the average consumer gets it. You can trust them in your home and with your pets. (They are also a lot of fun. We instantly booked them to return for a tricky fan installation.

I highly recommend Poor Boy Electric. First off they are both very friendly and easy to talk with, I didn't feel like I was ever being upsold on anything and instead they helped to find the best and most affordable alternatives. I had them do some home audio and electrical for new load in my house. For the home audio, they tried to find the least impactful way of completing the job and did an excellent job and ended up not needing any additional drywall repair or painting. They were very knowledgeable which helped me figure out a good route on the best surround system setup to go with. For the electrical they ran four circuits for a future aquarium upgrade, they suggested the cleanest option for future resale. Both items were knocked out in two appointments and they were very responsive and accommodating. The pricing was fair and came in just under what they estimated. I will definitely be using them again for future work.

We are very happy to have found PoorBoy for our electrical needs. We had some major reworking of old lights that needed to be switched out/modernized and they did a fantastic job with it all. Super fast, very professional, really thoughtful and easy to work with. The best part for us was how knowledgeable Erik is about all the options, current tech stuff, the way he clearly explained everything to us and his impressive creative vision for our project. We didn't know where to start with all the lighting options and he really did a wonderful job guiding us. We couldn't be more pleased with how it all turned out.
