- GEGlenn EvansFeb 24, 20261.0This is the most unethical company I have ever dealt with. When my furnace stopped running over the weekend they figured they had me over a barrel. The only pricing they would give when I called was the "there will be no dispatch fee". Since I needed them to more than show up in my driveway, I asked what they would charge to diagnose my problem. The only answer I could pry out of them was "it will depend on what they have to do." No surprise the diagnosis cost was exorbitant and the performance of the tech was abysmal. He did almost nothing before announcing that my 10 year old furnace was dead and would have to be replaced. Obviously I refused to sign up for a new, exorbitantly priced furnace on the spot. And for the next two days he pursued me like a 1960's used car salesperson. By comparison, two days later a tech from Modern Air, a Morgan Hill based company, came out, charged me less than half as much and left me with a running furnace in about an hour. Three guesses who I will call for service in the future.

- DMDavid MoffattFeb 8, 20261.0My mom used these guys back in 2023. Turns out we now have to get a bunch of their work fixed. PCHS's work on the entry way left a tripping hazzard. The new drain line PCHS installs needs to be restrapped because it was done incorrectly. PCHS left the old sewage pipe under the house. They did not back fill their trench under the house. All in all they do not do what a prime contractor should. I.E. the general hires the subcontractors to do the specialized work and THE GENERAL MAKES SURE THEY DO THE WORK RIGHT.

Christian was polite, on time, and did an efficient job of removing my 20 year old smoke detectors. He was thoughtful about wearing shoe coverings and provided me with thorough explanations about everything he was doing. I would highly recommend this company and this particular employee. I won’t hesitate to use them for future home repairs.
