  As a contractor who works in high-end residential remodeling, we value design partners who are not only talented, but practical, responsive, and deeply engaged throughout the entire process. Hart Wright Architecture consistently delivers on all of those fronts. We’ve collaborated with Eliza and Stuart on complex, custom home remodels in San Francisco—projects with tight site conditions, high client expectations, and lots of moving parts. Their drawings are exceptionally well done—clear, buildable, and thought through—and our field team regularly comments on the difference that makes during construction. What we appreciate most is their presence and leadership. They don’t disappear after design; they stay involved through pricing, scope coordination, and build-out. They advocate for their clients while also understanding how to keep a project moving forward on-site, which is a rare and valuable balance. Eliza and Stuart are engaged architects - they are principals who are directly involved with their projects. There are no layers of staff between them and the project.
