Since 1989, our mission at California Carpet has been to be the Bay Area's leading floor covering retailer by providing more of what you, our customers, are looking for. That begins with the selection, service, and price - but it doesn't end there. It has to include trust, and we have worked hard over the years to earn yours.
We carry a number of eco-friendly products and also work hard with all of our suppliers to make sure that they are using environmentally sound practices in the manufacturing of their carpet, rugs and hard surface flooring. We are proud to say that almost every vendor is actively working to improve their carbon footprint. Additionally, California Carpet now recycles every bit of the carpet we remove from your home when we install new carpet. From pads to fibers, it all gets recycled and processed for reuse. Our partnership with Borgata Recycling allows us to deliver this benefit to the planet and our customers.

The carpet is 100% wool and is the perfect colour to go with the walnut walls. And, they were installed perfectly and quickly so there was no problem with not being able to use them. A+

Greg found a beautiful wool sisal remnant for me and had it ready within a week. I was nine months pregnant at the time and didn't lift a finger.
