  Jamie and Dominic were great, removing the old furnace, thoroughly cleaning the area, installing the new furnace, and sealing all registers from air leaks. They were very knowledgeable, professional, and nice. Everything went very smoothly. We were provided with all the information we needed to choose to replace rather than repair. Chris did an amazing job doing the initial comprehensive inspection, showing us photos he took of issues inside the system, so we could see. Same Day is contracted with Home Depot so they stand behind them. We will definitely call them whenever we need anything in HVAC or plumbing.

  Same Day did a sizable home project for me last week, replacing my HVAC with both outside and attic units. The design technician, Steven, has ~30 of years experience in the industry and was extremely helpful explaining options, cost-benefit trade-offs, going through contract details, and even answering more of my last-min follow-up questions the evening before installation. Bottom line, Steven was patient, listened, and clearly wanted me to be informed and feel totally comfortable in my decisions. During installation, the Same Day technicians — Moises, Axel, Gilbert, and their supervisor, Jose — were all super efficient and thorough. The entire job was completed in less than a day, and yet it didn’t seem “rushed.” They made sure to show me what they were doing, explained how the new system works, regularly asked if I had any questions, etc. Overall they were considerate of my home, friendly, and very professional. The HVAC replacement was a huge decision for me. Same Day made it a lot easier. They were competitively priced and their staff were competent and professional. I would happily recommend them.

  Same day heating came out to our house to install a heating, AC units and replace all the ductings. Moises, Axel and their crew came on time and explained what they were planning to do on that day and the following day as it was a 2 days appointment. They quickly started their work and approximately 30 mins prior of day 1 work completion, Moises notified me that they were done for the day and they had already installed the heating and the AC units. They will be return the next day to install the ductings. Day 2, again they arrived right on time and continue with their work and within few hours that they were done. After completion, they tested the units, clean up and explained to me that I will be contacted by a 3rd party company to test the unit before the final city inspection. I did have an issue with the heating unit not heating up after Moises left and I called him up that afternoon and he immediately have his office to arrange a service tech to come the out the next day to see what’s happening. It was just a wire in the AC unit outside and the service guy fixed it immediately. We are very happy with Same Day Heating and AC which is backed by Home Depot. Especially Moises, Axel and their team are excellent, professional and we would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for heating and AC works.

  I was "pitched" a $8.95 HVAC inspection at Home Depot. I decided to take the offer. The tech showed up and preformed some visual inspections and took numerous photos. We did not start the furnace before his inspections and the furnace was never turned on this winter (my mistake). After his inspections, the furnace would not fire up. The tech said I needed a new gas valve and a sediment trap. I was provided with a quote for $2,200. Multiple times throughout the process, I was told that my furnace was at the end of its life and I should consider a new one. I decided I would look into doing the repair myself. The gas valve was$60 on Amazon and a sediment trap was $10 at Home Depot. I could do the repair in about 90 min. Same Day Heating, Cooling Plumbing gave me a quote for $2,200 for the repair. The story gets even better. Prior to replacing the valve, I turned on the furnace, and everything worked fine. What a coincidence that 24 hours after the tech left, the furnace worked fine.

  I have been experiencing issues with my HVAC system for about a year and a half. The AC unit takes a very long time to cool the house, and whenever it starts, it produces a very loud noise. Additionally, the thermostat on the downstairs floor was not working. Because of these ongoing problems, I contacted Home Depot and their contractor, Same Day Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing, to conduct an assessment. Christopher, the HVAC technician, was very courteous and professional. He was the first to troubleshoot the system and was extremely thorough. He identified several faults and discrepancies, including a burnt contactor on the AC unit, a burnt resistor on the control board, and extremely low refrigerant (Freon) levels. He clearly explained the issues and provided two options: repairing the existing system or replacing it entirely. Michael, the design technician, then walked me through a cost comparison between repairing the system and replacing it with a new one. Due to the improved efficiency and simpler, more reliable design of a new system, I decided to proceed with a full HVAC replacement. The installation crew—Bryant, Malik, and Jose—did an outstanding job. They removed the old system and installed a highly efficient new HVAC system with great professionalism. They were courteous, respectful of my property, and conducted all required testing to my satisfaction. Overall, they did a tremendous job, and I am very happy with the results. While the installation was pricey, the saying holds true: you get what you pay for. I highly recommend them.
