    Avoid Herc rentals. They used to be Otay Mesa Rentals. I rented 2 pieces of equipment from them since I was a regular customer of Otay Mesa Rentals. First equipment delivered did not function properly, lost a day of labor because of it. 2nd piece of equipment was supposed to be delivered at 7:30am, did not arrive until 2:00pm, another day of lost labor. They then sent the final invoice and it was $200-$400 more because of insurance charges(I have equipment insurance) and hidden delivery charges on top of the normal delivery and pickup charges. They don't tell you of the upcharges until the final invoice is sent. and trying to discuss it with them is like talking to a wall. Stay away or at a minimum , make them send you a contract showing the charges you will be charged. Other rental companies are less expensive with more reliable equipment and reliable delivery times.

    My work place rented these nice F150 trucks, so nice and great ride, so smooth. Totally recommend them.

    Got quoted on a trailer that was too small for the skid steer we rented by Dan, 2nd invoice I received was of course $150 more, then was told after reserving they didn't have it in stock anymore. Avoid!
