  Paul is about as untrustworthy as it comes. He is listed as a tempstar authorized dealer for warranty repairs. I have a unit under warranty that was installed by a close friend of mine that unfortunately passed away during covid. I called him and explained my full situation and what was going on. That the unit had taken out a contactor and transformer. Then taken out another transformer. He came out and installed a third transformer and billed me for parts and labor despite it being under warranty. Then when it failed again an hour later he ordered a board and had his tech install the part. His tech during install pushed the board into the furnace causing the board to fail. He refuses to come back out and repair the damage his tech caused and is flat out rude and disrespectful to me. Do yourself a favor and do not hire this man for your ac repairs. I am going to have to file a complaint with the contractor license board to get the money back to repair the damage he caused to my system. I've attached pictures of the damage he caused.

  We are in the process of selling our home and, during the buyer's inspection, the AC did not turn on. So, we found a company with excellent reviews on Yelp. When all was said and done, they quoted a cost of just over $7K to repair only the "absolutely necessary" components. At that cost, they made a very convincing presentation that we would be money ahead to go ahead and replace the entire AC system for just over $13K. Fortunately, we spoke to our realtor and she recommended we get a second opinion with Mac's Aire Service as she had clients with similar experiences using the other company. Today Mac's Aire Service came out and was able to repair the system for $200.

  This HVAC company was recommended by several people in highland California area, I called owner was very helpful and friendly. Sent out two technicians who were friendly and knowledgeable and quickly found the problem and fixed it. Price was very reasonable. Great company
