- ASAJ SinghOct 12, 20251.0My wife and I are both teachers, and we purchased our $600,000 home from Richmond American with great excitement and high expectations. Unfortunately, our experience with post-sale repairs and customer service has been deeply disappointing. At the time of purchase, the team was polite and responsive. However, since closing, we have encountered consistent rudeness, lack of follow-up, and unfulfilled repair obligations—even though our home is still under warranty and less than one year old. Our repair representative, Dzhemma (DJ), has been unprofessional and dismissive on multiple occasions, often refusing to take responsibility for issues clearly covered under warranty. Despite submitting a professional inspection report outlining several builder-related concerns, DJ refused to address them and even spoke negatively about me to my wife—something I find entirely unacceptable and unprofessional. I would like to note, however, that Nicole, the representative we had before DJ, was outstanding—professional, courteous, and responsive. Unfortunately, she went on maternity leave, and ever since, our experience has deteriorated drastically. I have requested several times to be reassigned to another representative, but my requests have not been granted. We were warned by others to avoid Richmond American and Lennar, but we believed we’d be treated fairly as loyal customers. We saved for years to buy this home, and as hardworking educators, we do not have the means to constantly fight for repairs that should have been handled under warranty. I sincerely urge Richmond American to review our case, assign us a different representative, and restore the trust we once had in your company. Sincerely, Educators
