  We recently completed an ADU project with James, Johny, and the team. Start to finish took roughly 10 months (design, engineering, permitting, construction, finishes, city inspections), with around 4 months of active construction. I enjoyed working with the West Coast team and would not hesitate to look to them again. The team is easy to work with, communicative, flexible, and they provided a competitive bid. I scouted out several ADU builders at the beginning of the project. James stood out with his level of care. Several other builders I sought quotes from felt impersonal and commercial, while James cared about making sure the project would fit my needs and preferences. James was willing to work through a number of requests that many other builders didn't want to explore, including advanced framing, unusual flooring, a custom floorplan, and complete discretion over the materials and finishes used. It felt like we were building a project together, and not just purchasing a mostly pre-arranged service. Much appreciation and thanks to the entire West Coast team!

  We recently engaged West Coast to build a 652 ft2 ADU as an addition to our rental property, and the entire experience was exceptional. From the initial brainstorming and design phase through planning and execution, James, John and their team demonstrated professionalism, expertise and dedication. I first learned about WC through a Facebook advertisement and, admittedly, approached the process with some skepticism. However, the company quickly exceeded my expectations. Their proposal and charges were clearly defined in the contract, and they offered flexibility when I preferred to source certain materials on my own. Communication throughout the project was outstanding (timely, transparent, and consistent.) Even more impressive, the construction was completed in just 3.5 months, from breaking ground to final delivery. James and John were consistently punctual, responsible, and a pleasure to work with. Thanks to WC’s commitment and performance, our vision became a reality. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking a reliable and trustworthy partner for their construction projects.

  West Coast Construction Pro just finished building an ADU for our family, and we have been so pleased with all aspects of the building process. They worked with us to create a customized floor plan to make the best use of our yard. Their bid was significantly lower than other ADU builders and they were much more flexible with floorplan and design requests (other builders required use of a few limited floorplans and finishes). James patiently answered our dozens of questions in the planning process. John was our project manager, and he maintained excellent communication with us throughout the process and was super responsive to all requests. All the subcontractors involved were friendly, professional, and competent. Once we broke ground the entire project was completed in just 3 months and there were no unanticipated costs or budget changes. The final product is gorgeous -- we are so pleased with how it turned out! We would highly recommend West Coast Construction Pro to anyone interested in building an ADU. James and John are amazing to work with -- they are kind, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and really dedicated to making a quality product.

  I contacted WCCP last summer for a bid on an addition and James contacted me immediately. We signed a contract in October 2024 and construction started Jan 2025 and finished June 2025. James and John are both great to work with and we felt they truly had our best interests in mind. Communication was top notch. They were always honest and transparent. For reference, we converted our garage to a primary suite and added a garage. We also redid our siding. We are very happy with the end product. Thanks James and John! Also special shout out to one of their contractors, Yaro, who does great work and stays late to get things done.
