I'm a contractor, I called and asked if they had 3" Galvanized threaded caps, "yes, got 2..... great, be there in 10 minutes..." I showed up, nice folks hand me 2, I pull out my card to pay, I'm asked: do you have an account, I said no, just cash sale, he says $270 and some change... as I was handing him my card, I thought, wait... what? 130 plus dollars per??? I thought I was having a brain cramp, looked it up on my phone, 12 dollars at home depot, 21 dollars at ace hardware, what an I missing???? He replied, well, you don't have an account!!, so I pay 12× the price, then a managerial fellow comes out and says, hold on... tells the other fellow, do this and that as they type on the computer and proudly comes out with 70 something dollars, I asked for both? He says no each! I proceeded to point to a specific body cavity and suggested a high velocity, indepth insertion! I drove 6 minutes to another plumbing supply and paid under 18 dollars per! Now I was in Alaska or deep in Amazon, not the warehouse the jungle, I get it, but placerville is neither! Do with this as you wish!
