  REPLY: Thank you very much for your response, and I completely agree with everything you say. For sure, Mary and Hugo have much deserved great reviews which was an important factor why I chose your company, and I fully understand that I am wholly unique in my negative experience and Mary's seemingly singular irritation with me personally, which I'm sure she's totally forgotten by now. To add another specific point: while sitting across from her in the final meeting, she even blatantly ignored me to attend to a phone text. I came into the final meeting with the full intent of paying the deposit and proceeding, and was so shocked and caught off guard by how I was treated that I mistakenly just brushed it off in the moment, and proceeded anyway. Yes, it was 100% my mistake to give her the benefit of the doubt, and I very much personally regretted it the following days. And, believe me, I was as surprised as anyone that the stain was not dry yet. The stain was not dry because my home had the strong smell of stain for many days after install, and when I tried to gently dust the cabinets, stain rubbed off and onto our soft cloth and smudged the cabinet, and these smudges were later fixed by your company - thank you. Another point is that I have a witness to everything that I say here and this person agrees completely with my perception of the situation. Original: Mary Styler was very nice and informative in our first meeting and really the reason that I hired Closet La Quinta, and I was very excited to hire them for projects in the future as well. Their product was pretty good and they met our timeline, except for one thing. The stain was not dry upon delivery, which seems like a very basic error that should never have happened, and it did cause some install issues which they did later fix. For a variety of reasons, I would not hire Closet La Quinta again. But, the reason for the one-star review is based upon the blatant and deliberately insulting treatment that I received from Mary Styler at the end of the decision process when I was just asking her some basic design questions prior to making the initial deposit. I should've walked away immediately at that moment, but I made the big mistake of shrugging it off and proceeding to hire them anyways. I will not be hiring Closet La Quinta for any future projects, but Mary Styler already made it very clear to me that she never wanted my business in the first place. You will not find my name in your customer list as I want to remain anonymous and maintain my privacy.

  I couldn’t be happier about the kitchen job that Closets of La Quinta Cabinetry did for me. First, their communication and punctuality was excellent throughout. They understood very quickly what I wanted and made sure that was what they provided. On the installation day the crew was very professional and hardworking. In the end I had a beautiful pantry closet with mirrored sliding doors, as well as a trash/recycling bin pullout cabinet that matched the stain of my existing cabinets exactly. Five stars to this fine local company.

  We recently had two of our closets redesigned to be more efficient in holding all of our clothing and accessories. The design Mary created gave us more flexibility and space than we imagined. Drawers. Laundry hampers built in. Shelving for everything from small stuff to luggage. Hugo and his team did an excellent job building all of the cabinetry . Hugo Jr. and Ephraim did an awesome job installing it. We are very pleased. From our first consultation with Mary to the final install everyone was polite and professional. We highly recommend them . In fact, we just contracted them to build custom floating shelving for our great room . We are that pleased with their quality and pricing.

  This is a local, family business; not a chain nor a franchise. They have quality products with a broad range of options. The installation was very well and carefully. The installers were polite and attentive to details.
