- BBBrian4 days ago1.0I had a technician out July 28 and was provided with 3 quotes. 1 for repair and 2 for replacement. I authorized the repair to be completed. When i reviewed the repair the next day I found the door inoperable and left unsafe. I reached out to the office and spoke with a CSR who asked me to provide pictures (which I did) and said a manager would be calling me. I have sent several emails with no response. Unfortunately a 1 star is my only option to get noticed.

Cyrus and his partner (sorry I don’t remember his name) were professional and thorough in diagnosing the issues, suggesting options in all price ranges and making sure we know how to use snd maintain our new garage door opener. We highly recommend Canadoor and would call them again.

Before the appointment, I had already purchased two identical openers on Amazon for approximately $68 each. In the end, I only had one opener supplied and installed by the company, and the charge for that opener was approximately $400. I was advised that the difference reflected labour, travel, and overhead costs. The work itself was completed well, and the overall project was close to $2,000. As a repeat customer who has used Canadoor several times over the years, I was surprised by the markup on the opener and would have appreciated more flexibility on the pricing. If the company reviews its Google feedback, I would appreciate some clarification regarding how the opener pricing is determined, as that was the only part of the experience that left me with questions. Overall, I was satisfied with the service and would recommend Cyrus for his professionalism and customer service.
