  We just had a water heater and new furnace installed in our home. Initially, Jim came to our house to evaluate things, discuss our needs and provide options for the products that would suit our home and family best. He was honest and took the time to explain different parts of the HVAC system, and answer our questions with detail and patience. During installation, Dan and Taylor arrived nice and early and got to work quickly. They made sure to protect our floors while they worked, and gave us updates and information throughout the process. The install looks professional and tidy and they left the space very clean. We were having some issues with the colour of our water after the install of our water heater, and when we reached out to the office (Lou, Sahar and Julia), they were quick to send someone to check things out. Due to the old age of our previous heater, some pipe corrosion was simply stirred up and needed to resettle. Brendan the plumber came around to verify that all pipes are in working condition, and tested our water. Overall we are very happy with the responsiveness of the team, how friendly and how professional they all were from beginning to end. They were all thorough in answering our many questions and quick to help along the way. Great team! We are happy to continue to work with them moving forward with the continued maintenance of our HVAC system.

  Rahul and Arden installed our brand new air conditioner today ! They were punctual, extremely tidy and professional. Any questions that I posed were answered quickly and in layman’s terms. When it came to installing our Eccobee thermost, they ensured I was part of the process and showed me how to use it. Overall, a great experience and.I can hear the A/C humming as in the background !

  I submitted an online form on a Sunday afternoon expecting to wait until Monday or later for a response. Instead, I got a call within seconds from Sahar, who was warm, professional, and had me booked for a Monday appointment before I even expected anyone to pick up the phone. Before the technician arrived, I got a text with his photo and a precise arrival window -- Jim showed up exactly when expected. He was knowledgeable, patient with all my questions (I had plenty -- I was replacing both my furnace and AC), walked me through a package that made sense for my home, explained the next steps clearly, and even helped me understand the federal rebates available. Not once did I feel rushed or oversold. Their responsiveness, transparency, and professionalism from first contact to in-home visit was genuinely impressive. In an industry where follow-up and communication are usually the weak points, Affordable Comfort stands out. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

  My partner Rick Hamilton and I had a visit from HVAC specialist Matt Carscadden, on Monday the 17th of August. Matt was timely, personable and professional. Our focus was on the possible replacement of our air conditioner. Matt went through all our options efficiently, and in layman's language. We have worked with Affordable in the past and see no reason to change providers. Matt's knowledge and professionalism confirmed to us again, that we trust and value Affordable Comfort and the service they provide.

  Bradon came by to do some maintenance work on our fireplace and I can't say enough about his professionalism, thoroughness and attention to detail while working at our house. We recently moved into a new house and the fireplace had not been maintained in a long time and Bradon made sure it was perfectly cleaned and up and running. I highly recommend Affordable Comfort to anyone looking for any kind of HVAC work to be done. Edit: Today, Mathew came by to service our furnace, HRV unit, and water heater. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and thorough in his work. He kept me posted on his arrival time and made sure I knew what was going on through each step of the process. Another five star visit from Affordable comfort!
