  Well, I recently moved to Barrie and when we bought our first home, we faced countless challenges. I contacted Affordable Comfort, and I honestly can’t even remember how many professionals came here trying to solve persistent issues. I still have many compliments and words of gratitude to share with this company. But today, I especially want to recognize an incredible person FLORIANO 🤩.He is an excellent professional: knowledgeable, respectful, and extremely patient. Mr. Floriano, I sincerely thank you for your service. I truly don’t have enough words to express my gratitude. Thank you for helping me with the language barrier, since I don’t speak English fluently. Thank you for patiently explaining, many times, how to use my thermostat and answering all my questions with kindness and respect. You will always be welcome in our home. I wish you a prosperous life, happiness, and continued success in everything you do. Thank you for everything, and please continue being the kind-hearted person you are… God bless you!

  The 2 young men were right on time. Introduced themselves and started work immediately. They explained what they would do, explained the process, laid floor coverings to protect the floors and carpets. If something didn’t fit with what they needed to do they explained it to us and asked for permission. The job was completed, then explained about the thermostat and how to operate it and even tried out the furnace if it was working. They cleaned up the area where the furnace was put in and even the driveway. We have very high praise for the men and their knowledge of what they do. Thank you Affordable Comfort for a job well done. You installed our air conditioner in July of last year and we have come back to you for our furnace. Bernice and Joe Koziol

  We had an urgent need for a new system. Robert Marietta was our guide. He was knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. He walked us through the different options until we came to a decision. It was a great experience. It’s now installation day and we were sent 2 technicians, Cole Boyd and Andrew Belcredi. Great job with the installation, worked very clean and made sure everything was working. Before leaving walked us through the new system in good detail, Cole Boyd is exceptionally knowledgeable and really takes pride in what he does! Several times we overheard him ”oh that’s perfect” he’d exclaim. Well good on you sir! You’ve clearly got some great people working and enjoying what they do. Thank you for great service!

  Had our ducts cleaned today, Nathan showed up on time and was courteous and polite. He explained the scope of work to be done, surveyed the property to identify ducts and cold air returns, and immediately got to work! Upon completion, he showed me pic of the inside of the ducts, which were quite clean! I am quite pleased by the experience (one note: the price quoted was not quite what the final invoice was, in fact it was almost double what I was expecting. Nathan showed the invoice with the duct cleaning and the sanitizing. Ultimately, I paid, and chalked it up to not having a hard copy quote prior to getting the job done) I would like more information on your club, and the advantages offered and will contact you to schedule more work.   We placed an urgent call for service on our furnace yesterday morning. At 11:15am we received a text message indicating that a technician would arrive between 3 to 5pm that day. At 2:04pm Dave, the technician, called to let us know he was on his way and arrive within the half hour which he did. Earlier that morning Enbridge replaced our gas meter and they detected a drop in pressure or flow once the installation was completed at the meter. Upon further investigation it was determined that the furnace had a gas leak beyond the shut off valve shutting us down until repaired. Dave, the technician from Affordable Comfort, used two methods to quickly identify the leak. The culprit was the bottom gas pipe at the trap. Dave was able to hand tighten this pipe several turns before requiring a wrench to complete the job. This was a new install in 2022 which obviously was not done properly or tested for leaks. Thanks Dave for your professionalism and prompt response to our emergency. You may have prevented a serious problem down the road had this situation not been resolved at this time. Rest assured we know the company to call for all future appliance services. We can't thank you enough.
