This was, without question, the worst service experience I've ever had.
My appointment window was between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. By 4:30 p.m., I still hadn't heard anything, so I had to call twice just to find out if anyone was coming. The technician didn't arrive until 5:30 p.m. There was no apology and no explanation for the delay.
Once he arrived, he didn't seem confident in what he was doing. He spent a lot of time looking through the manual and checking his phone, and appeared unsure of how to troubleshoot the issue. At no point did he explain what he was working on or what the problem was—I had to ask for updates myself.
After he finally got the air conditioner working again by reconnecting the old equipment, he disconnected it and went downstairs without saying anything. When I asked why he had disconnected something that was working, he rolled his eyes and responded with an attitude. That level of disrespect was completely unacceptable.
To make matters worse, he was wearing an overwhelming amount of cologne. The smell was so strong that it made it difficult for me to breathe while he was in my home. Technicians working in customers' homes should be mindful of things like that.
Between the poor communication, lateness, lack of professionalism, dismissive attitude, and overall service, this was an incredibly frustrating experience. I would not recommend this company based on my experience
Two separate teams installed the heat pump over 3 days. Each team was very friendly and professional. The first team came on Wednesday and Thursday but could not finish the installation. Erwin and Mark came on Friday and worked late, in a very hot weather and under the rain to finish the job. Bravo. Erwin tested the whole installation and everything looked fine. About an hour after they left, the unit in the dinning room was leaking water all over the place. I called Aydin and he immediately scheduled a service call. In no time Andrew Wilson arrived at the house, figured out the problem and fixed it. I was extremely impressed with Andrew. I am also very impressed with Don's Heating and Cooling in general. Problems happen and they handled it very well. The problem was fixed very quickly. I highly recommend Don's Heating and cooling.

I booked an appointment that was scheduled between 9-1. They arrived at 3 pm and immediately asked me to sign a contract for an invoice of $250.00 diagnostic fee. This was not mentioned over the phone or in confirming emails and texts. I called them and the answer was if I did not ask them they would not tell me. This does not seem like a very transparent business and I will never use them again.

Mark and Fred are the best HVAC technicians I’ve ever dealt with. They are extremely professional, efficient, friendly and provide easily understandable answers to all my questions.
Choose Don’s Heating and Cooling, get a quote from Brian and ask for Mark and Ferd to install whatever you get from them! You won’t be disappointed!
We had our ac unit serviced recently as it had a leak and went with Dons as we had seen the storefront in town and figured we would give them a try. The communication to set up the appointment was good and on the day of the appointment it was nice to get a message letting us know that the tech was on the way and how far out he was. We had asked for a diagnostic to be done and a quote so we could decide whether to fix it now or at a later date.
The tech guy was friendly and ended up fixing the problem for us as it was minimal. We never did get the quote we asked for and was just told what the entire bill was after the repair was done. Not sure if the tech was told by the company that we had wanted a quote first. My only real issue with the tech is that he was on the phone for most, if not the entire time he was here and it seemed like a personal call. I didn’t find that very professional and being that we were paying for his actual time I would have preferred that his entire focus be on our repair and not chatting away to someone else while on our dime.
