  Tom was amazing to work with from beginning to end. He's extremely knowledgeable and personable, and found exactly the flooring we were looking for. He helped us make informed decisions about what to install where and was very upfront about which parts of the project might be challenging (the transition to the fireplace) and what we could do if we wanted a more budget-friendly route—including recommending alternative companies. The work turned out spectacular, and even the difficult areas were top-notch. I'm still in awe of how clean and seamless the transition to the fireplace is! Tom also offered to bind our old carpet into a stair runner free of charge. On top of all that, when there was minor damage to the flooring a year later, Tom got it fixed—no questions asked. He was extremely patient with our scheduling issues too. I absolutely recommend Strauss Carpets for all your flooring needs.

  Several years ago I decided to replace my carpeting with laminate wood floor. A couple of neighbors in my condo recommended Straus Carpets based on their professionalism and customer service. Recently there was a problem with a section of my floor. Mr. Straus immediately made an appointment to come and see what might be causing the problem. He was attentive and reassuring. The outcome, much to my surprise, was better than I anticipated. The problem was quickly resolved at no additional cost to me. If you value exceptional customer service I highly recommend Straus Carpets.

  As a Realtor I've been using Straus Carpets for years with my clients, but only recently did I have the opportunity to experience just how great they are personally. Tom and his team were fantastic start to finish. From educating me on the types of flooring that would work for my kitchen & bath to bringing out samples so I could see them in the space, and helping me determine the best type of carpet for my pet-loving household. I ultimately decided on an absolutely stunning herringbone engineered hardwood for my kitchen after originally considering vinyl. I could not be happier. The kitchen is the heart of the home and the flooring has made it even warmer and visually gorgeous. The installation team was professional and fast, getting the job done over Thanksgiving week to work in my schedule of other vendors and contractors. I could not recommend Straus Carpets more highly and I am very happy that I can now support my professional recommendations with personal experience.
