  Josh with Greenfoot Energy Service Yeti was great! It was super easy to book an appointment online; I received reminders and notifications of the appointment and when to expect Josh for my service! We had heat pump maintenance completed and he kept me in the loop with how we were doing with our maintenance, as well as tips to help keep everything efficient! Will definitely book with Greenfoot again for our next service!

  These guys are pretty good. I just wish they would get rid of the stupid AI that answers the phone. Its name is Claire and it’s extremely annoying. I will only do businesses where I can speak with a human being not a robot. If you want more of my money, then get rid of the robot.

  We had a Lennox ductless heat pump that stopped working and placed a service call. Before the technician Jefferson Cortez arrived the heat pump started working again. It would have been very easy for Jeff to leave and say everything is fine but he investigated. He found a mouse had climbed into our outdoor unit and chewed on the wires in the control unit! The chewed wires were very dangerous and could easily have shorted and caused a fire. Thank you to Jeff for finding and diagnosing the problem!!

  Before I start this is a review for the Service Yeti repair service, not heat pump installation. We had our install of new heat pumps done through Greenfoot a couple years ago and that we had no issues with. That said, our most recent experience with Service Yeti left lots to be desired. One of our heat pumps was acting up, not turning on and giving an error code. So I called Serve Yeti. To begin, calling in to get a service takes you to an odd, AI “receptionist?” named Claire. An AI/ automated phone service is expected these days but this one is weird and even has fake call centre sounds and murmuring in the background and took me a minute before I realized I was talking to a robot, it left a bad taste in my mouth, but obviously something I could get past. Once I received a time and date for a technician to come look at the issue (which I provided the error code for) I figured things would quickly move ahead. Not so. The technician was supposed to arrive on July 6 between 12-5. I took the afternoon off to wait. By 4:30 I still hadn’t heard anything so called in, eventually bypassed the AI assistant I spoke with a real human who was able to speak to my tech and gave me an estimated time of 5:30 arrival. It wasn’t until after 6 that the tech showed up. And I had to make the call to check in, no heads up on their end. Anyways, tech arrives and basically looks at the error code (which I had already provided) and then says they need to order a part that will take weeks to come in…. I was frustrated, received a text asking for a review of service, but instead the next day I sent an email explaining my frustrations. I received nothing back. The few weeks go by, the part comes in and I get an appointment for the service to be completed. This is August 20, over 6 weeks later. Given a time range between 8:30 and 12. Take the day off work, and guess what, nothing by 12, no call, no tech. So I call and am asked if the tech can come at 1, which no, because I have errands to run. He does come after 3, does the service and we are back up and running. Then I receive another message to leave a review. So here it is. It should not be on the customer to wait around for the slotted time and not be given any updates if a tech is running late. I took over a a day and a half off work unnecessarily, losing those vacation hours. Not cool.

  Thanks to the 2 installers Baldev and Brittany for an amazing job. They installed heat pumps in 2 of my bedrooms. The perfection of their work is so impressive. Add to that, amazing personality of both. I would never hesitate to recommend Greenfoot for installation of heat pumps and highly recommend Britany as the very talented Electrician and Baldev as the genius in explaining the operation of the equipment he installed and the operation so I was completely at ease. Thanks, guys.
