Seen a news story where this contractor is not paying his subcontractors. For all the work they complete subcontractors is putting leans on homeowner's homes. Because of general contractor not paying subcontractors.

STAY AWAY! We had a terrible experience with HavenHub. The two salesmen we met with were great, but we learned they were fired shortly after my contract was signed. I signed my contract in early July with a completion date of august 8th, but the project was not finished until November 2nd. HavenHub did not manage their subcontractor, during this entire process. The construction manager (CM) assigned to us was on my property for maybe 15 minutes during the initial job walk, then never returned. I was told he and all other Utah staff were fired. I asked HavenHub on multiple occasions to send a CM to my project for quality assurance and to ensure industry standards were met, but no one came to mange the subcontractor. HavenHub did send another CM from California to look at my project after some rework was finished, he wasn't happy with what he saw, but nothing came from that visit. I paid 25-30% more by hiring HavenHub than I would have if I contracted directly with a subcontractor. I justified this extra expense as the costs for HavenHub's management services, which were nonexistent.
The subcontractor claimed that HavenHub had not been paying invoices for past projects, and my house would be at risk of a mechanics lien even if I paid 100% of my contract to HavenHub. I had multiple calls and text messages with upper management at HavenHub about my concerns with their lack of management, and especially the lien risks on my home, and it became very clear to me that this company is trying to protect themselves only, and they do not care about their clients. Little side note - The HavenHub salesbros and leadership seem to go on some cool retreats and trips according to their social media posts... Due to HavenHub's lack of management and unwillingness to eliminate the lien risks they had put on my home, I was compelled to solve these issues on my own all the way into December.
Hiring HavenHub was a massive mistake and caused so much unnecessary stress for me and my family. I had other work, dependent on completion of this HavenHub project, lined up with a different company that has now been delayed until spring as a result of this mess caused by HavenHub. Although I managed to get the project completed and the lien risk removed, I cannot walk around my yard without being reminded of this terrible experience.

We thought HavenHub was a good company and they were great at the beginning. After two months of having our artificial turf put down it was damaged and we have tried reaching out and we have had three account managers because they either quit or have been fired. We have called and called for the past 10 months and responses from them were we will get answer with no answers. I have sent emails with no response. I would truly appreciate a response back.

I hired this company because of the reviews I read back in February 2025. Unfortunately those reviews turned out to not be accurate in regards to my job. I still have issues and have been ignored when I have brought up the issues several times with the project manager, job site person, and the owner. I had been communicating with them regarding the several issues since at least April 2025 but now I am being ghosted since October 2025.
The issues are:
Turf was put in poorly and had to be redone 3 times, with issues of evenness, turf not secured correctly, and lack of weed barrier. This was the first issues and was corrected.
Govee lights- These worked initially, but immediately stopped working. Initially 1/2 string light went out. I contacted the company and they failed to fix it or replace them. Now the lights don't work at all, and 1 single light stays lit. The light bulbs capture water as well. The product is of very poor quality and it's been known this product (model I was given) had issues since 2023 and continued through 2025 when I was given them. Lights till don't work and no one from Haven Hub has bothered to replace /install the product.
Planter lights - These lights do look good, but the timer does not work. I asked for the operating manual for these lights several times, with no response. I have tried to reset the timer and even turn the lights off not only through the timer settings but manually with no response. The lights continually come on at all times of the day even if I turned them off a few hours earlier. The only way to have the lights off is to unplug them, which of course defeats the purpose of the lights. Again when this was brought up initially to the company back in April and several times more, no response.
Fire Pit Gas Line- This is the biggest issue. The line is damaged under the newly laid cement. I had a gas leak where the gas company had to come out to shut the line off. I have communicated with the company yet again several times about this issue from at least August. I was told someone would come out and check it out, which was done and confirmed the damage was under the cement. I was told the issue would be fixed, but since that discovery nothing has been done and have not been able to use the fire pit since August. You would think a serious issue with a gas line they know was damaged in the area they did would be a priority, but I guess not.
I would suggest anyone looking at this company for work to not choose them. There are too many issues reported not only through reviews, but I'm sure through BBB and Angie's list, as well as other review service companies.
I am of course hopeful I will get a positive response and have the issues fixed immediately, before I have to go another route.
