    Called Modern Method roofing for an attic fan. Modern Method roofing simply sent an estimate never having seen the space. Further, I was stood up for a site visit

    Modern Method Roofing repaired our flat tar roof after a storm pushed a tree into the roof corner, just missing the home in 2024. See photo of the "repair." Unfortunately, we did not know until the next rainy season that their repair work to the fascia was not level (instead slightly sloping in the corner), and the roof has developed substantial "ponding," or a huge puddle of water that seeps over the edge instead of going to the main drain. After sending photographs and meeting in person, MMR will only do a minor correction at our expense rather than rebuilding the fascia level to prevent future difficulties. Find another roofer.

    I got estimates from several companies last year and this year and went with Modern Method Roofing. From the delightful first call with Cynthia, the pleasant demeanor of Bruce who provided the estimate, the workmanship of Luis C. and Francisco, and the correspondences with Cynthia, Bruce and Lisa, the job was done well and in a timely manner for a reasonable price. I am such a worrier, so I left my husband to handle being home when the roof was installed. Prior to the new roof, I wanted to sell our house. Now I am at peace and I am thankful for all those involved for making the process a smooth one. My next door neighbor has commented twice on how good our roof looks now. An extra thank you to Luis C. for coming back on what I believe would have been his day off to complete the job. Thank you!
