I loooooooooooooove this company! DeHart is such a great company to call for issues. No trouble getting through to an actual person and Justin J is hands down the best person to work with! He came out on time and was very communicative and super knowledgable in the issue I had. He tested thoroughly and explained in detail what the issue was and what needed to happen. He then assisted us in getting The City to come out to look at our house and in a very quickly manner the issue was fixed. I could not have asked for a better experience than what I was given with Justin and DeHart. If anyone reading this wants a great company to fix their issues, look no further. Seriously... call them... and ask for Justin J.

I only used this company because I was behind the 8 ball with renters who had a failing A/C unit during a heat wave and nobody else could come out to repair for over 10 days. BIG MISTAKE! W/O properly diagnosing my system first, upon arrival they tried to convince me to replace the entire HVAC system to the tune of $25-30K, based on their "experience" with my reported problem of possible coolant loss. My home was only10 years old with a system minimally used for the first 7 years! Is this a case of elder abuse? Being a senior, did I look like easy gullible prey for aggressive sales tactics? I don't know. While the "experienced" technician was there he had to call the main office to get "how-to" advice from other techs while connecting diagnosing equipment on 4 different inquiry calls. Trust for competency and honesty evaporated quickly. The problem with this company is that they try to upsell you at every turn. They are insistent to create bogus "Relationship" tactics by promoting free checkups and reduced price servicing packaging on regular intervals. Based on my initial contact, who in their right mind could trust them not to give you a clean bill of health on your system, if warranted, without some questionable maintenance ritual or unnecessary repair down the road. The worst part is they require your email to conduct their business. Once you are in their system they are relentless in their spam emails trying to churn more unnecessary inspections, repairs, tune-ups etc. They arrive almost weekly. I have called 3 different times and spoke with office staff to remove me from mailing lists. Each time I get assurance that will not be a problem. IT FELL ON DEAF EARS. So, I am out mega bucks for a Freon re-charge and the promise of future system checks (NO WAY), that got my renters through the heatwave due to a SLOOOOW leak. Too bad they didn't have the skill to identify the culprit causing the leak. Their method of recharging the lines to only come back later and discover "Yep there is indeed a leak" wasted my money and time. All the aforementioned prompted me to finally write a review to get the word out to other unsuspecting customers. AVOID DE HART at all costs!........unless you are masochistically inclined to be subjected to the kind of treatment I was. Choose wisely. Conclusion: I called one of their local competitors whose name begins with "W". They came out and diagnosed a faulty condenser coil, ordered parts, installed, recharged system (again), and I was up and running in a couple of days for about 8% cost of a new system replacement.

To say I'm angry is putting it mildly. I had them repumb my house at a ridiculous amount of money. Then they looked at my furnace and charged me 2,500 to basically clean it it. Then I had them look at my ac. They told me I needed a new ac unit and furnace. They are ripping people off left and right. Their goal it to get you to spend as much as they can get out of you. I dont trust them at all now. Their employees are very nice but not nice enough to spend money I need for cancer treatments. DeHart you should be ashamed of yourselves doing this to people.

Joshua came out to do an energy audit on my home in Modesto. He was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the systems in my home. It pointed out the issues and what he believed could be contributors to why my electricity bill has been historically so high. He did not try to over sell me, just pointed out what he believed was causing the issue and then let me decide. I ended up scheduling with De Hart to replace the old outdated ducts and blow new insulation in my attic to current standards. I would highly recommend De hart and Joshua.
