Purchased a new Halo water system and Tankless water heater. Salesman was Great. They installed everything the following two days. That's where things started to fall apart. Salt container kept filling with water. Sent initial installer back out. He was on the phone with a Halo rep trying to figure it out for an hour. thought he had it. Left. Water kept rising in salt bin over the next several days. I called salesman who said it might be normal to have a little water. I said NOT NORMAL. He said they will just replace the salt bin to take care of it. This was Wednesday morning. His boss said wait until a Halo rep comes out end of week and ask him because it may be normal since it is a larger salt tank. I said 22" of water, way above the salt tank is NOT NORMAL! The salesman spoke with the rep, who said before replacing the salt bin, it may be a programming adjustment. On Monday morning they had a tech come out with a Halo Rep on the phone. He checked all programming adjustments. All were correct. Found a hose not cut flush on the end. Fixed it. Told my wife he got it and left. a while later she heard constant water running. Not the full on Regeneration flush, but like someone turned on a faucet on medium flow, and just let it run and run, to the drain. It was running like that when I got home from work. I got a glass of water from the refrigerator before calling Bell Brothers. The water tasted like SALT WATER!!! From my refrigerator!!! I called them immediately and Regina from the office said there were no technicians available this late. This was still the afternoon! She said she would send someone out the next morning. I said we are losing a LOT of water, and I can't have this go on all night! And the water is pure saltwater! She said she would try to reach a supervisor and call me back. About 40 minutes later she called and said a supervisor dispatch a technician and he will be here in about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes, depending on traffic. We received a text and an email with a name and a picture of the tech that was on the way. We waited and called back and got their A.I. assistant. That said the tech was supposed to be here between 5pm - 7pm and since we passed that window she could send someone out in the morning or we could wait until the tech shows up. I said we will wait. By 8pm no show on a technician, and no phone call either. I called, got the A.I. assistant again. I said I need to talk to a supervisor. It put me through to a "real Person", not a supervisor. He was apologetic and helpful. He left a note for them to send out another technician 1st thing in the morning. I told him that I want a Supervisor to call me 1st thing in the morning! He said he put that down and even highlighted it. He said they get in around 7am and he will have someone call me. It is now 5:25pm and NO PHONE CALL ALL DAY!!! They did see the message because they sent Pedro out and he was patient, explained everything about the water flow, and that the tech earlier should have told my wife since he had to turn off the system, the system needed to do a regeneration, and he should have just done one before he left. The water stopped flowing after it did a complete regeneration just after midnight! Also he should have told my wife that the water will be salty for about 24 hours due to turning off the system. he was patient and went through everything so my wife would understand everything. I have not even had this system for a month yet, and So Many Problems that could have been taken care of through simple communication! Like they say "Communication is KEY"!!!!! So why didn't a technician show up yesterday? Why hasn't ANY Supervisor reached out or called me? Their customer service is Really Lacking!!!!! Bell Brothers, I would like to have one of your owners reach out to me. You need to do better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Update: Supervisor Jody called me at work. I asked him to call me after 2:30pm. He said he would. That was 5 days ago and STILL NO CALL!!!!! I would like an owner to call me!

Bell Brothers technicians were extremely polite and caring of my home while having all my HVAC ducts replaced. Koodos to Angel and Brandon for a job well executed! I know Bell brothers isn’t the cheapest. Yet. They did all my windows a few years ago and I trust them for doing quality work. They even came back for free after there was a problem with my air compressor fan post duct work. Seemed to have been a loose screw on my 40w fuse in the fuse box. Fixed it and I’m running with no charge. Yes. Choose Bell Brothers.

Manuel N installed 2 new facets, shutoff valves and drains on separate sinks. He is a very professional technician and good communicator of the job to be done. When there was potential issues with a phase of the work he informed us so we could be part of the going forward decision. The job took a bit longer than the estimate of which he apologized for. No apology was required as unknowns popped up out of his control but the fact he acknowledged the job took longer was much appreciated.

We contacted Bell Brothers to install a new out door tankless water heater and cleaning of old pipes behind the wash machine. The sales rep was knowledgeable, honest and not pushy. The quote was detailed and pricing competitive. The installation crew were punctual, professional and neat. The clean up was immaculate with them taking all the debris away with them. I would like to recognize Martin Flores who came out to meet with the city's inspector. Martin was so professional and immediately took care of the areas that needed attention. The permit was signed off. My only constructive criticism is the office who handles calls and follow up appointments, with the customers. There appeared to be a disconnect with the appointments or lack of. We are a member of their membership program and my expectations are pretty high in the communication area.

Bell Brothers came out for a scheduled AC tune-up. I received a text message stating the technician would call when he was on his way, but that never happened — he simply showed up without notice. After the service, our AC unit began making a rattling noise that had never been there before. When I checked outside, I found three screws and a plastic clip left on the ground, and part of the exterior panel was loose. That immediately raised concerns about whether the unit had been properly reassembled. When I contacted the company, I was told I could not speak to a supervisor and that the soonest they could return would be several days later. I had to push back and explain that this was not new work — this was an issue caused during their service — and required immediate attention. Only after going back and forth were they able to move things up. For a company that promotes itself as “the no surprise guys,” this experience was, unfortunately, full of surprises. UPDATE (after follow-up visit): Bell Brothers sent out a manager, Ryan, to address the issue, and I want to recognize that experience separately. Ryan was extremely professional and took the time to thoroughly walk through the system with me, explaining what had been done, what should have been done, and what to expect moving forward. He didn’t just fix the issue — he made sure I understood how the system operates, what to watch for as a homeowner, and how to properly maintain the equipment to extend its lifespan. That level of transparency and education is something I really appreciated. He also identified and corrected the loose panel issue and cleaned up debris around key components, showing a level of attention to detail that was clearly missing during the initial visit. For a company that promotes itself as “the no surprise guys,” I was initially surprised by the level of service we received. After that first experience, I expected more of the same — but I was equally surprised by the level of professionalism and thoroughness Ryan delivered. Ryan’s approach is exactly what I would expect from a company like this. If that level of service were consistent across the board, the experience would have been entirely different. I do appreciate that the company ultimately sent someone who took the time to do the job right.
