  MPE took on a difficult problem for our Homeowners Community. We had a broken fire hydrant that NO ONE would fix for us. It had been non-working for 5 years. We had called all over Northern CA and we couldn't even get calls returned. EXCEPT for Monterey Peninsula Engineering. They worked long and hard to come up with a plan to replace an "unknown" issue with pipes from the mid 1970's, a broken/plugged fire hydrant, water shut-off for a community of 92 units, and digging in between a roadway, lawn, and sidewalks. And to make it more complicated... they had to hand dig the 6 foot deep hole, as our sprinkler pipes crisscrossed 6 inches under the lawn. They worked long and hard and were able to complete the job on time and within a great budget. The men worked hard, were not standing around, took a short lunch in order to finish the job and get our water turned back on the within an 8 hour window. They were respectful to all the neighbors, polite, answered questions and provided incredible service. We are so grateful for their help.
