  Im not very happy, I was quoted $519 + $79 diagnostic with a system under warranty to replace a part. I got a second opinion and had it fixed in 10 minutes for less than $100. Either this technician was incompetent or the company has a terrible system set in place. I understand having to make money, but to gouge your customers severely with the cost of a simple repair is out of line. *Side note, I still have to pay the $79 diagnostic fee

  I just want to start off by saying the employees at Gallaghers are very nice. So this is not about them as people but more so the quality of service provided and not being able to find solutions to the issues we are having.. In late July we had a new furnace installed and since then it’s been issue after issue and having technicians coming out saying they’ve fixed problems only to have the same problems come back. It started with incorrect wiring that was done during install that a technician came out and couldn’t fix so we had to have a supervisor come out and fix it and that allowed for the ac to work after weeks of dealing with no ac during the hot summer days when we should’ve had it working.. Now come the fall, we are dealing with issues with the heat not working or working for a day and then stopping.. we are on our 3rd call for the fall with 2 technicians coming out already. The first guy found obvious neglect with the wiring being placed on a fan so they were all frayed and needed to be fixed and also problems with the water drainage in the pipes of the furnace. After all is done he said it’s fixed and shouldn’t be having any problems. A day or so goes by and the same issue comes back with the heat not coming on even being set at 80 degrees! So we call a 2nd technician and I figured surely it’ll get fixed and after 2 hours of work the heat was on and things seemed good. The heat also lasted a couple days and now has since stopped and I wouldn’t be so irritated if it weren’t for my elderly grandmother going through her end of life times through hospice and who is struggling to retain any comfort she can. I’ve resorted to a space heater but you’d think after so many calls and technicians and me asking for a higher up to come out they’d get it fixed by now.. it’s a shame because my grandma has been a customer for many years and no one can get the job done right when it’s most needed.. hoping for a solution soon. [update] The field service manager came by and immediately knew what the issue was off the pictures from previous technicians. He fixed it diligently and was super respectful!

  They came out very quickly and Patrick was a huge help and in helping me diagnose a remedy the problem with my heater!

  I have been a customer of Gallagher's Plumbing, Heating & Air for a couple of years now. I have had a positive experience in the past with servicing my HVAC unit. Today was the first time I have had anyone from their plumbing department out to my home. The employee, Pedro, was very thorough and informative. He was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. There were some issues with water drainage in a pipe on my property. He was able to not only look at it, but clearly understand what we were describing has been happening and then give us several different possible things of how to take care of it. He was not being a pushy salesman, but rather a knowledgeable employee letting us know that anything we decided was our choice. We were very pleased to have his assistance today.
