  I bought a system five years ago and have had it serviced with a local technician, the same one that installed it, regularly. My system has said call for service for five months now, but my technician has reached out to Puronics numerous times for his own system, and a few others with no response. I emailed Puronics two weeks ago and received no response. According to their phone number and website, you now have to go through a local dealer, but the closest is six hours away.

  I have the system installed but zero companies work on this system for maintenance around Matthews NC. Do not install in NC because you can’t just use any company it has to be a certified dealer. Which good luck getting one.

  Our 10 year old water softener wasn't working anymore. My friend highly recommended the Defender iGen30C Softener/Filter system from Puronics of NorCal that he bought last year. I spoke with Brittany on Wednesday evening and received a quote early the next morning. I was able to get my system the same day. In less than 24 hours from my initial conversation with Puronics of NorCal I had my new system installed and up and running. Brittany was very knowledgeable, professional and great to work with. Our installer, John V. did an amazing job. This system has greatly improved our water quality! Thank you Brittany and John I really appreciate all your help and expertise.

  I purchased a Puronics water softener system expecting it to effectively solve my hard water issues. Unfortunately, it has not performed the way it was represented. I continue to experience signs of hard water, including mineral buildup and water that simply doesn’t feel softened. For a system marketed as a premium solution, the results have been very disappointing. When I reached out to customer service for help, the experience only added to the frustration. Responses were slow and unhelpful, and there was no meaningful effort to troubleshoot or stand behind the product. Even more concerning is the advertised “lifetime warranty.” When I tried to get support under the warranty, it did not live up to expectations. The coverage felt limited and did not provide the protection that was implied at the time of purchase. For the price point, I expected a system that works and a company that stands behind it. Unfortunately, neither has been my experience. I would recommend that potential buyers carefully evaluate both the product’s performance claims and the warranty terms before purchasing.
