We had an older style retro 2 valve shower/tub handles. It looked OK, but the constant need to fix either the cold or hot valve became a large burden to maintain. These guys came in and spent a full day converting our old system to a brand new single handle system. We haven’t had any problems with it since it was fixed and have been enjoying not having to constantly figure out what valve needed to be fixed.

I have had great experiences with Clean Out Plumbing multiple times. They are always professional and on time. All jobs were completed on schedule with respect to time of me and my tenants. Their fees are competitive and they are insured and bonded which is requirement by my HOAs.

The crew was super friendly and professional, and I really appreciated that they didn’t give off the “pushy car salesman” vibe that a lot of plumbing companies do.
Unfortunately, the actual result of the job has been really disappointing. The water is not draining properly to the new storm drains they installed, and now we have standing water/puddling in multiple areas. We’re being forced to hire a concrete company to try and correct the slope and drainage issue, which is an extra expense we weren’t expecting after paying to have storm drains installed.
I was told they “aren’t concrete guys” when referring to the patch work, but I don’t understand how that explains the drain placement itself. The drains should have been installed where the existing concrete naturally slopes so water would actually flow into them.
I also reached out to ask how much it would cost to relocate the drains and never received a response. Overall, the team was nice, but the end result didn’t exactly meet the expectations.
Frequently Asked Questions About Clean Out Plumbing & Rooter
How do I know if my drain needs professional cleaning?
Professional drain cleaning may be necessary if you observe any of the following symptoms: slow water drainage, gurgling sounds from pipes, recurring clogs, unpleasant odors, or water backups. If you experience these issues, it's recommended to seek expert assistance. We offer a drain cleaning service for $49 to address your concerns.
What causes drains to clog?
Drain clogs typically result from various factors, including the buildup of grease, hair, soap scum, food particles, tree root intrusion, and the accidental introduction of foreign objects into the plumbing system.
Can I use chemical drain cleaners to clear a clog?
While chemical drain cleaners may provide temporary relief, they can potentially harm your pipes and the environment with extended use. For a more effective and safer solution, we recommend professional drain cleaning services.
How often should I have my drains cleaned?
To maintain clear pipes and prevent significant blockages, we suggest preventative drain cleaning every 12 to 24 months. However, drains subjected to heavy use may require more frequent maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
What methods do plumbers use to clean drains?
Professional plumbers utilize various techniques for effective drain cleaning, including drain snaking, hydro jetting (high-pressure water cleaning), and video camera inspections. These methods help clear blockages and identify underlying drain issues.
How can I prevent clogged drains?
To minimize the risk of clogged drains, avoid disposing of grease in sinks, use drain strainers to catch debris, regularly flush drains with hot water, and be mindful of what you put in garbage disposals. These simple practices can help maintain the health of your plumbing system.
What should I do if my drains keep clogging?
Recurring drain clogs may indicate a more serious plumbing issue, such as tree root infiltration or pipe damage. In such instances, we advise scheduling a professional inspection to accurately diagnose and address the underlying problem.
What is hydro jetting, and how does it work?
Hydro jetting is an advanced drain cleaning method that uses high-pressure water to remove buildup, grease, tree roots, and debris from pipes. A specialized nozzle emits powerful water streams, thoroughly cleaning pipe walls and restoring proper water flow.
Is hydro jetting safe for my pipes?
Hydro jetting is generally safe for most plumbing systems, including PVC, cast iron, and clay pipes. However, if your pipes are significantly damaged or deteriorated, we recommend a professional assessment before hydro jetting to ensure the procedure won't cause additional problems.
When should I choose hydro jetting over traditional drain snaking?
Hydro jetting is particularly effective for addressing persistent or recurring clogs, extensive grease buildup, and tree root intrusions that may not be fully resolved by standard drain snaking. If you experience frequent blockages or persistent slow drainage, hydro jetting offers a more comprehensive and long-lasting solution.
